All Might is One Punch Man levels of OP if what was displayed in this episode is him being weakened to the point where 300 punches has to be used to equal his old 4 punches lmao

And Deku's going to be that OP by the series endgame.

ep12

Last two episode have been plus ultra

allmight_by_aims774-da6ys1s.gif

you know someone going to get there ass whooped when he takes off his tie

All might is just to darn mighty..

they pretty much saved everything for ep11 and 12, looked great but i didn't like the diming the brightness down for sakuga scenes which happens in a lot of modern anime lately.

That was an intense and epic freaking fight and it ended in such a one punch man way. Will this anime get more seasons? I'm loving it, it should be a long series.

While I hope Deku does become a powerful (but endearing) superhero like All Might, I'm dreading that the other teen heroes will be sidelined & forgotten, similar to how it's happened in other shonen anime/manga where the main protagonist becomes the "Big, White Hope" and everyone else becomes shitty and sucky.

Except Naruto where the protagonist consistently takes a backseat to a secondary character from the beginning of the series until the end :3

Don't worry everyones going to get Sidelined for Part 2 to focus on Deku & bakugan weird thing they have with each other. The more over powered he becomes, the more boring the series becomes.

I like Deku as a character but I find his powers boring as hell compared to his class mates.

oh man this episode. I gotta say that there is something about a show that can make me get all childlike watching it and excited during a fight. Last time I felt this was boros vs saitama. All might just ends up becoming one of my favorite heroes with every episode.

Read the manga, it's better anyway

I feel like if I do that, it'll kill the thirst, but then I won't appreciate the anime as much (when it comes out.) Lots of criticism here and there while I'm loving everything haha

It's a tough decision, but I'll have to see how long I'll last after next week

There's been some series that I saw the anime first and then NEEDED to know what would happen next so I continued on the manga. I feel like this one isn't like that. I like it and I know I'll want more of it when the season is over but I'm not really thirsting for it where I must read on.

I'm glad to wait for the show. I've done the opposite on other things as well. I read the manga of attack on titan and then watched the show, and then decided to drop the manga and will just watch the show.

I'm an up-to-date manga reader. I vastly prefer the anime. The art is clean and colorful in regular scenes and the action scenes look fine. This is BONES after all. Plus, I think they've added some small additions here and there to flesh out the cast more.

But the kicker is that soundtrack. I can't imagine rereading this scene or Deku vs Bakugou without that music. Actually impossible.

God, I hope that doesn't come to pass. And I agree, Deku is fine as a character, but I do hope the author has enough sense to not make him fight one powerful villain after another, then an even stronger one, and then an even stronger one... Most writers paint themselves into a corner when they go on that route.

The author hasn't failed us yet, so just hope he keeps it up.

True, but I'm worried of the potential of it happening. I love this series because of Deku's limitations to his superhuman abilities, and some of the other heroes are awesome in their own right and could easily be the protagonists of their own series.

Well there we go, the first piece of actually interesting animation came in the second-to-last episode.

This show has been such a shame, the source material is great but the direction and animation is so aggressively mediocre. I really hope next season turns out better.

His moments in manga are the fucking best. And man does he shine.

This episode...

So sad the next one is the last one, i'm tempted to start the manga if only because we have no idea when a 2nd season might come.

Sadly it looks like the serise director Nagasaki Kenji(hasn't directing a single episode, only storyboard the first two episode) and chief animation director Umakoshi Yoshihiko(has yet to animate anything) don't seem to give a damn about boku no hero, hopefully in the second season we can get someone that's more involved.

The sheer satisfaction delivered by this latest episode, in tandem with the spectacle, was absolutely needed to bolster the day----definitely hoping more seasons are coming.

Do it, the manga is fucking great.

And this episode was a joy to watch. I hope we get more seasons if not just because the music and moments of hype are so spot-on. All Might is perfect in the anime.

It's a shame this is going to end (for now anyways) next episode, and might take a year to come back unless they move timeslots for future seasons (which is entirely possible). This season unfortunately ends before Deku gets a lot of his hype moments from the manga. Really wish we could at least have gotten up to the end of the stain arc

It's kind of a shame but hopefully this attracts more to read the manga. I'd love to see their reactions in the manga thread since this season is the tip of the iceberg in terms of hype.

I'll have a big smile on my face reading impressions from people who decide to read the Manga once the anime is over.

I swear this tends to be the reaction for most people in many of the shows that I watch. I got this most of the time when watching attack on titan

to be fair in one piece while luffy is the one that will beat the final boss, they in general do a great job of giving the rest of the cast time to shine.

I think MHA will do well for a long time about that stuff though. the creator does a great job of building up other characters and using them. it seems unlikely that they will suddenly forget how to do that.

Heck I kind of figure that at the end of the series deku and others will fight a really big bad and while deku has a good amount of control of his power, he still can't fully control it. ultimately doing a single chapter skip ahead 5-10 years after that battle where he can finally control it and has replaced all might and finally ends the story being the best like he said he would at the start.
