Part of good pacing is that you want to get to the next thing right away.
Up until now, I had chapters to consume in bulk. How that I'm on the weekly grind, I miss just being able to read the next one
good chapter
wonder what slime girl's deal is
poor ochako
That was too intense for a ten minute break. And, you know, the UA kids may not be prepared for this test, but I still expect Iida and Tsuyu to do well. Bakugou on the other hand...
the Ochako/Deku side plot is greato
Yeah it's clear the whole Ochako/Midoriya thing is going somewhere, and pretty soon.
Looking at how Horikoshi has worked until now, we know he's going to take a brave route.
I'm just curious about how it'll end up: will Deku reciprocate Uraraka's feelings? Will he turn her down? Will he say something like "i can't i have to stay focused on becoming a hero"?
I said before that I'd be happy if they start dating before the series ends so they can explore how a relationship actually works rather than like most shonen treat it as a sort of finishing line of "Well, they're together now." I didn't actually expect it at the time, but I'd be thrilled if it happened.
Bonus points if Uraraka is the one who asks Midoriya out instead of the other way around, since she's the one who seems to actually be paying attention to her feelings right now.
If she asks him out there is no way he turns her down. He crushed on her before she ever liked him.
Did he?
Whe only ever saw him blushing in front of her, but he does the same basically for every girl, since he's not used on hanging around with them.
We still don't know how he feels for Ochako.
But i guess he wouldn't refuse a date simply by the fact that he's a teenage boy, and because of that of course he wants a girlfriend.
Luffy being asexual actually became a plot point on Amazon Lily. He's modeled after Goku though, so you know where the original sin lies.
Ichigo is just badly written.
He was still going to fall face first tho, just not onto hera nice example of how Deku is a normal human being is how he didn't need to have Ochako look like a ridiculous fanservice character to find her attractive
...it's kind of weird how that's remarkable, do that many shounen characters really need to fall face first onto people to notice them?
Tsuyu got a whole omake about her life before UA and she's been partnered with Midoriya before.Where's my Tsuyu or Ashido focused arc?
All of this great plot and awesome development and wonderful action is wasted on me.
while Naruto meanwhile obsesses about Sakura for years just because she's vaguely cute and doesn't actually have too many positive experiences with her, yet it's treated as though his feelings are super genuine.
Tsuyu got a whole omake about her life before UA and she's been partnered with Midoriya before.
Ashido is the one who needs a little spotlight time.
NOT ENOUGH
NEVER ENOUGH
On a similar note, something I noticed when I searched for Tsuyu fan art is that while I like seeing artist's do a character in their own style, something I really hate is when someone draws art of a character that completely removes aspects of that character that drew people to their aesthetic in the first place. Part of Tsuyu's likability stems from her blank stare, somewhat froggy face with eyes that never change and are pretty big and round, she's always hunched over and her body is kinda squat and froggy. When you draw her standing straight up, striking a generic brushing her hair back while looking over her shoulder poses where she is a normal body type and has a more bishoujo or generic face you're really taking away everything about her that is appealing.
Rainbow vomiting is a national treasure of Japan.the idea to vomit rainbows was a nice touch
Horikoshi drew a sketch of Tsuyu standing up straight and she actually has a fairly standard "anime waifu" body with the slightly larger than normal breasts, the hips, the lot. You just don't see it because she stands like a frog most times.
