There's so many things wrong with this.
I dunno. There was something so right about the husky male voice they had for Celestia in the first few Friendship is Witchcraft shorts.

So I just saw this ad on derpiboo.ru
What can't Nick Cage do?
Totally unrelated to both the Nic Cage thing and the Season 4 title sequence thing, but I was listening to this pretty fantastic True True Friend/I've Got to Find a Way mashup/remix and picked up on something I thought was really cool.
It's hidden way down in the mix in broadcast version of True True Friend, but check out Rebecca Shoichet's last section in the remix (starting around 4.19) - she absolutely belts that last bit out to f***ing amazing effect. Actually makes it kind of a shame we can't hear it in the show.
topical and relevant
Listening to Kevin Smith's podcast series Fatman on Batman (part of the Smodcast network) and on the episode he does with Tara Strong. I forgot how much I love this woman.
They talk MLP of course, but also her work as Batgirl, Harley Quinn, Bubbles (Powerpuff Girls), random Carebears voices...so much awesome

Why is Twilight dressed as Waluigi?
TwaluightiAnd why isn't the T upside-down?
Think about it. He'd be perfect. He can do awkward and shy as well as batshit!Fluttershy
Where do you guys get your MLP comics? I'm in Canada and have never seen any. Also, how would one acquire the backlog of previous issues?

Cute AND spooky!
I still like the one Myke did: http://mykegreywolf.deviantart.com/art/Once-Bitten-Twice-Shy-377536581
If you want to get them as soon as they come out, you generally have to find a "comic book specialty shop" in your area. They're pretty much all independently owned and operated across North America, so you have to find one for yourself, although they all buy from the same distributors, so they've all got access to the same stuff. MLP is one of the biggest comics in recent years, so your local comic book store will likely be carrying it. If not, you can ask them to get it for you. A huge chunk of their sales comes from filling individual requests for stuff that's much weirder than grown men liking My Little Pony, so you don't need to be concerned about asking.
As for the back issues, they've entered the "collectors market" and your local comic books shops might have some/all of them on hand (you might have to hunt around to find all of them), but they've likely been marked up significantly. You might have to pay through the nose if you want the earliest issues or variant covers.
Or if you want to make it all easier and cheaper, you can get the collected editions from Amazon.ca.

You can mostly catch up using the collected editions, and then if you want you can wait for more collections, or you can hit up your local comic book shop if you need your monthly Pony fix.
My town is pretty small. I'm a regular at all two of our comic shops (lol), both who want nothing to do outside of DC, Marvel and Dark Horse.
Don't know why I didn't think of Amazon, haha. Thanks
I just get mine from a local comic book shop. They all wear pony shirts so I don't even feel embarrassed buying them. You might want to look at buying them digitally from comixology.com
You say your town is small, I don't even have a bookstore within an hour's drive. And I live in the suburbs of Atlanta, not some backwoods rural area.
Wow, those three first episodes sound awesome.
Love thereferenceCastlevania
