Question though - does the writing stay as strong? Also, is there an over arching story or are they all one offs?

It gets better. And the rest of the series is more or less episodic, though occasionally an episode will echo a line from a prior one.

IMO, the writing stays strong, for the most part. I think there are some weaker episodes (for example 'Over a Barrel'), but overall, the writing so far has been very good. Most of the episodes are one offs. And again, for the most part, while there isn't really an over arching story, a few of the episodes do have a recurring theme/subject i.e.: The subject of the Grand Galloping Gala shows up in The Ticket Master, again in Suited for Success, and from what I know, is the subject of the series' season finale.

Aw that's cute as hell. I can't draw for shit but I'm currently modelling each character, when I get further with them it would be cool to experiment with different cutie marks and colour schemes.

Makes perfect sense to me. It explains why banks, the most important of institutions in an anarcho-capitalist society, that should by all means be open at all times close right before sunset. =P

I'll be getting to work on tearing it down and rebuilding it eventually. I think I might just leave that one there as an archive and put together a new one eventually. A 2.0 if you will. Not sure what to do yet =/
