Fabulous. You are indeed a god of giffing! Thank you so much for the heads up!

I know my part in the upcoming storm. I'll have my troll parasprite pacifiers at ready.

I was not feeling at all excited about this year's E3, but all of you people are sure playing a big part into getting me hyped. :)

Oh, and I bought S&P2.

Good man.

What kind of world do we live in where people refuse to buy S&P2? How are we supposed to love and tolerate them now?!
Well to love the game requires tolerating the difficulty level. That final boss almost destroyed my love!

Oh yes, the final phase of he final boss is evil. Fun, but evil. And you'd think after the bullet hell that was the previous phase that the game had thrown its worst at you... oh no. It has one more.
Bullet Hell Escort Mission. Now you don't have to dodge every bullet, you have to SHOOT every bullet.
Better be quick at aiming. Satisfying when you pull it off, though.

But does anyone else here like Kevin Smith's banter?
He just launched his SIR thing on Internet Radio.

He has already done interviews with well known people 'in some circles' and they were well received. His wife who joins him in the first 2 hours is a feminist and so is Lauren. So do you think if we across all pony websites pooled our powers could influence Kevin and Jen to invite Lauren on for an interview?

I'm posting this knowing full well the hatred I see Kevin Smith gets on this board.
I'd totally stop to hear whatever Kevin Smith (or any other notable personality, to tell you the truth) has to say about ponies, and would love to have him and Jen interview Lauren Faust. It is about time for this fandom to get a little exposition outside its own restricted circle.

I also reserve the right to change my respect level regarding any public figures, based on their stated opinion about the show.

I'm still waiting for that Wired article which was rumoured about weeks ago.

Here's a funny comic featuring everyone's favorite fanon-generated pony comedy duo: (clicky)

I wasn't even entirely sure what was going on towards the end, all I remember was a sensory overload. A great game though, shame about the sales
I am part of the problem, I waited 6 months for a price drop

I could only finish it on easy. I am not ashamed.

That's so harsh. I really hope your love fortunes get better soon.

Just remember: For every stallion out there, as sure as the sun, there's a mare.

Does anyone have the 'Bro it's hard to tolerate and love you' or something picture at hand? I've been trying to find it for the last 15 minutes, I'm convinced the internet is conspiring against me.

Goggling for things is hard, especially when you can't use alt text, so let me just say.

Bro.. You're Making It Really Hard to Love and Tolerate You

Should make the image easier to find. :) Has to be one of my favourite image macros!

I remembered it being used in here a day or two ago, so I just went back a few pages and found it :p

I'm not implying you didn't search, just trying to make it show up google, that's all.

What's Applejack actually saying though in the actual episode?

I'm not implying that you implied that I implied that I searched or didn't search, I just felt a need to announce how I found it.

If I had to actually text search somewhere it probably would have been quite hard to find indeed :p

I went back about 10 pages because I remembered it being used too, but I must have missed it.

But yeah, Google gave me the one with Twilight, couldn't find this one though.

She was nervously trying to fake a smile after lying to Pinky regarding the reason she couldn't attend Gummy's party.

Just a reminder that tomorrow at midnight BST (Time zone converter) we're going to be watching Dragonshy and Look Before You Sleep on the Synchtube.
Dragonshy is generally agreed upon to be the best first episode for anyone new to the show, so if you are someone who has never watched the show before and want to see what all the fuss is about, you are more than welcome to join us.
Same goes for anyone here who has friends that you think might enjoy watching ponies and is willing to give it a try, feel free to invite them.

Ok, what the hell is S&P2 and how long do I have before the pitchforks come out?

I made another avatar based on the MegaSweet wallpapers. I'm not sure If I'll do them all, since the rest are very horizontally oriented.

Sin and Punishment 2 for the Wii.
It's good. It's really stupid, but good. Try to follow the story in this game. I dare you. It makes Metal Gear look sane. But the shooting and dodging is pure and distilled, and the bosses massive, dangerous, and numerous. Basically everything you want in a shooting game.

If you have a shooting itch, and if you can find it, then you should buy S&P2.

It has a story? And here I thought it was just a random pastiche of loosely glued together anime sci-fi cliches. You know, like those old "Manga Video" trailer montages.

It actually does, and it's hilarious. Let me see if I remember it right...

There's an intergalactic war between Inner Space and Outer Space. The Inner Space armies have found humans to be great troops and want to make more of them, so they've cloned Earth hundreds of times. The Earth you play on in SP2 is Earth-27. Isa is an Inner Space native, son of Saki from S&P. He's also part monster, or something. Kachi, however, is from Outer Space and therefore an enemy. But our hero was thinking with the wrong head and ran off with her in a spaceship prompting the elite Inner Space troops to follow them. The game begins when they're shot down.

The "Keepers" in the game are also well explained, at least to a point. They're anti-virus agents that seek out and destroy foreign presences on their Earth. A half-monster and an Outer Space girl definitely count. It's also why the Keepers fight back in the last chapter. They're defending the Earth as programmed. Then Isa turns into a Monster and absorbs Kachi and the game pretty much just ends after a big firefight.

There's also time travel and dream-spaces involved, but I got nothing there.

Basically Treasure took the "WTF?!" dial and turned it to 14.
