Just saw the episode.
Pinkie's musical act was lame as hell. Funny for all of about 5 seconds. I mean, I was left with the same reaction as the audience
. Only good thing that came out of it was when
, and again when she said her last line. I mean, we already had "Show Stoppers" for stage trainwrecks, and even that was superior to this. It's getting old, and I'd rather not have more of this kind of scenes in the show.

Rainbow Dash siding with the buffalos? What about the FUCKING SPIRIT OF LOYALTY? Did she leave it at home, or something?
The rest of the episode was reasonable.

Applejack's cousin Braeburn and even the little buffalo, Stronghide
they were well in their way to get things settled peacefully, but the arguing from Rainbow Dash and Applejack spoiled it all.
The night scene in the train was great.

No, the owl is actually a party planner specializing in parties for dragons. Twilight is planning a surprise party for Spike. Spike finds out about the party thinking it is for the owl and sabotages it. Then he finds the invitations Twilight was going to send out and realizes he sabotaged his own party. He goes to Pinkie Pie for help in fixing everything before the party starts.AceBandage said:

So I just spent the last 30 minutes trying to figure out how to make animated GIFs. So with the help of Photoshop CS5 and Compressor, I bring you my first GIF evar.
I'm kind of surprised how well the start/end blended together

Haha, same for me. I kept up with it for about 4 or five episodes but I eventually missed an episode and I kinda got lazy... guess I'm partially to blame for the slowdown of that thread lol.careksims said:
I think maybe why I shifted over to MLP might have been due to the animation. As someone who's about to jump into animating in 3 days I think perhaps the quality of animation in MLP is possibly what drew my time away from other shows. It's absolutely fascinating what they managed to accomplish using flash.
