True about GTA 3 etc, but the 3d era is considered seperate from the top down ones, which is why it was sold as a trilogy, and SA is the 3rd game in that trilogy, so it's a valid entry as well in this list. it's not considered GTA 5.

Mario 3 is definitely up there, to me Nintendo has never topped it as far as the 2D games go.

Sengoku 3 Neo geo is one of the best beat em ups ever made.

That's why i said 3D ERA if you can be bothered to read properly and no! San Andreas has never been known as GTA 5, your talking none sense, and shouldn't be calling any one dumb.

Thoughts on Streets of Rage 4?

I really dislike the art style but I love the gameplay (I regret the SOR4 characters can't run though) and survival mode is pure genius.

I hope that for the next one they go back to the slighly darker and more serious tone and art style of the first games.
Ideally they should give Ancient a pile of cash and let Ayano and Yuzo work their magic.
