seeing as Konan is dead... who is running that Village right now? Is it some people under Akatsuki?

Between the three big pairings...
I think sasuxsaku has the least chance of happening. It would literally require Sasuke to do and/or say something outlandishly out of character to make it happen. It could also require Sakura to behave irrationally (made to look like a fool by Kishi)

naruxhina and naruxsaku however are still neck and neck... both have solid arguments on why they should happen. If either of the 2 happened, it wouldn't feel like it was out of the blue. Naruhina has the whole admiration turning into love / Ive always watched over you / want to walk by your side theme, while narusaku has the whole best friends turn to love / growing up together / been through the bad and the good theme going on.

Am I the only one that thinks Naruto will get a by and end up with Hinata because Sakura dies?

I think Naruto would lose it...and Kill Sasuke by accident in rage or something, and relinquish his Hokage title to go on a hermit journey or something.

I'm nor just saying this, I'd skip a whole day of my life just to get to the next chapter quicker. Tomorrow is pointless really. Nothing good happens on a wednesday. Even worse is it's my monday since my days off are mon/tues. BOOOOOO.

Since we are in the final phase of the naruto week, shipping wars, I will say NaruSaku is my prediction. Not because I think it should happen or because it makes sense. I don't think she deserves him (though few do). I just think it'll happen because of all the hints.

Why is shipping so prevalent in the anime fandom? I never saw the appeal. In fact, I hate it. I come to shonen to read about the power of friendship, a sense of adventure, and, most importantly, characters with super powers who consistently cultivate these powers and grow stronger.

Shipping is shojo nonsense. This is one thing that One Piece understands. Come at me, I will not change my mind.

The reason I care about shipping in Naruto so much, not so much in other stuff like ill like ships but wont argue about them, is cause ive basically checked out on anything else and Naruto and Hinatas relationship is the only thing left that still has my interest.

Shipping is something we all do subconsciously or consciously no matter what we watch, simply because the subject matter is an ENORMOUS part of the human experience.

When the manga-ka seems to go out of his way to dangle it in front of you on a consistent basis, readers are going to pick sides, and tribalism will take care of the rest.

Even One Piece has a shipping community, a fairly large on at that, which I don't get cause Sanji should get all the girls.

I have a feeling that Sasuke is going to make everyone except Naruto believe that he is presumed dead

Hence the hermit like clothing

Either he "dies" in a explosion were noone can find the body or

He could have a change of heart in the last few seconds before his death or it could be up for debate


All in all I can see the Last movie having Naruto seeing Sasuke one last time confirming that he is still alive

I'm actually increasingly less positive The Last is canon to be honest. I do think we'll see a new common enemy in it, Hamura perhaps.

Anyway... I don't think this chapter will just break out into a full out fight

more of a build up chapter
Here is my prediction...

Naruto and Sasuke will look at each other.... some pics here and there about their friendship/rivalry.... eye squints, preceded by some small attacks then a clash where they stare at each other before the chapter ends (more of a build up chapter then a full on fight)

Bonus Points if we see Sakura being sad while looking at the battle with Sasuke in her heart

Minato asked him and Naruto acted confused then just said yea in a joking manner. Like I said before at this point its more like a close friend, bro/sis relationship and Naruto does things to mess with her. Knowing she still likes Sasuke, thats why he rebuked her during that awkward confession.

I still think Sakura x Kakashi is in play.

There is no way Naruto and Sakura are anything like brother and sister. He's been asking her out since they were kids, and she knows that he doesn't just love her, he is in love with her, it's what she tried to leverage to get him to stop chasing after Sasuke when Sai made it clear to her that she was also causing Naruto pain.

Given how closely NaruSaku mirrors MinaKushi, ObiRin and JirTsu, how can you even come to the conclusion that Naruto is "just playing" or that he "doesn't love her that way" - when, clearly, he does and it's been like that from the very start of the series?
