The reason Kakashi is famous isn't because he has the sharingan - It's because he's a jack of all trades and makes use of every single skill at his disposal. And the way he incorporated the sharingan into his style of fighting perfectly embodies this; He uses it to amass a wide range of techniques which he then incorporates into his fighting style strategically, or tactically for special situations.
How do you deal with a ninja that is a better strategist than most strategists, better at taijutsu than most taijutsu specialists, better at genjutsu than most genjutsu users, better at ninjutsu than most ninjutsu specialists, and has more tools and experience at his disposal than probably any other ninja? You need to catch him off guard or be overwhelmingly skilled in some specialty to have a shot at winning.

I wanted that as well, to see him at his potential without the eyes but lets be real, I'm not disappointed because we are at the end. When would we see that? He's not going to suddenly become good for this fight. Even his dad would be useless in this fight. And there's probably no story arc after this so if the last we saw of kakashi was him sitting at the sidelines, THAT would have SUCKED for such an awesome character.

I still don't see why he is still so paranoid about Rin and Kakashi, Rin seems to only have eyes for this fool but yeah that was some amazing reason for doing it even told him to become Hokage so he'll be too busy to RINblock

If it's not an Eternal Mangekyo, he will go blind if Kakashi uses it too much, but then again, I don't know if it's possible if Kakashi's eyes will evolve into an eternal since he lost his close friend for the second time.
Lol. So how will Obito see Rin in the afterlife with no eyes? Did he take Kakashi's instead?

The reactions in this thread and everywhere else I look have been amazing, thanks for that guys.
The only explanation I can come up with for Kakashi is that, as Tobirama said, the Sharingan is awakened by special chakra possessed only by the Uchiha, and Obito, being the spirit he is, gave Kakashi some of his own actual chakra rather than an implant that wouldn't be accustomed to Kakashi's body as naturally as it would to that of an Uchiha.
This isn't the first time a spirit has done some crazy shit. Dan, Tsunade's former lover, had a jutsu to freely move his soul and was able to give her chakra. Madara similarly manipulated his soul to use a counter against the Edo Tensei cancel. Tobirama was said to have a similar ability to move his soul during this war arc but we didn't get to see it.
Obito also said his chakra wouldn't last, meaning this is a perhaps only a temporary powerup. It came out of left fucking field, and I would have even called BS at least a little if live Obito and Kakashi used it together, but fuck it, it's end of the line, I can deal with a temp boost since Kakashi wasn't doing shit. Fuck that if it's not temp.
And also fuck that if Kakashi becomes Hokage. He had his chance. Obito can endorse whoever the fuck he wants but he hasn't got shit all authority.
Alright, fuck it. I'm actually hoping Sakura gets Slug Sage Mode (maybe it's the same as Hashirama's) next chapter. idgaf, a power up for all.

Tumblr being tumblr has been running wild with Sakura's design, which is actually pretty good imo.

how did it get more convoluted? Some people are really overthinking what they saw. All that happened was Obito was in the afterlife at deaths door, but he used his last ounce of life to transfer his sharingan to Kakashi either by way of chakra transfer or whatever, and then he finally let go and died. Nothing THAT crazy has happened here given the context of what's happening now and thing that have happened before.
Well it's one of the main character defining things for Obito. Kakashi could easily have been saving chakra and we still don't know whether or not Obito transferred his chakra to kakashi.

Either this or black. I always imagined Obito's Susanoo being black (or orange, which I hope Kakashi's isn't) and since it's technically Obito's eyes he's using...

"Golden boy" Sasuke has been one upped by just about everyone else in this arc. Madara almost killed him, and Naruto has clearly dwarfed him post-power up. He basically got whatever he wanted and won every fight he ever fought up until Sage Kabuto, but things have been all downhill from there. He's finally being humbled, and his latest reaction to Kakashi's Susanoo confirms that he's not used to this kind of thing at all. I think he's going to live and do some serious introspection.

This helps to prove that Kishi has a serious hard-on for the Uchiha clan in that you can get out of anything as long as you got dem eyes.
Kishi basically set up death as another dimension you can only access unless you either die or have access to that dimension teleport jutsu.

Well, technically one could argue it's the same type of transfer, as the Mangekyou that was shown when Sasuke used the technique was Itachi's, not his.

His bottleneck was always chakra. If Kishi gave a shit anymore it would be ridiculous to think that adding another chakra drain and putting more emphasis on techniques that winds him would be an improvement.

Yeah I don't really care about all of the technicalities of what goes on. As long as the manga isn't straight up boring me, then i'm fine. I'm not exactly excited by the plot, but it's more the character interactions that are keeping me entertained atm. I don't really care what wacky stuff he does with it. People who hate the manga that much have a choice, just stop reading it. If you hate it that much and keep reading it then that's your problem. I completely understand the complaints from people who do take the plot more seriously than I do and who need a coherent story to be entertained.... But I don't understand those who hate it and keep reading while desperately hoping it will end.
It became a habit. I used to read it as a shounen manga full of adventure and interesting characters, now I am read it as entertaining trash, because that is what Kishi made out of the manga.

I think what is getting more and more clear about this is that the dreaded 'curse' of the Uchiha/Sharingan and needing to kill or hurt people to obtain greater power is lies, written on the stone by Zetsu.
Instead of hateful actions, loving and thoughtful ones are the key to it's real power. This is clear to me now with Shisui, Itachi and ultimately the combination of Obito realizing how wrong he has been and passing on his ultimate 'will' to Kakashi. Kakashi is able to weild this ultimate Sharingan because of how devoted he is to his Friends/Village and how much he loves them.
Obito is/was insanely powerful and made only more powerful and aware of the 'narutoverse' once he joined with the 10 tails. I can see that people will hate this, but this is a manga where the dead come back often, it's been shown that remnants of chakra are left in the 'real' world all the time. And of course, redemption is huge in this manga. What Obito did was simply amazing.
I hope this is a wake up call for Sasuke and shows him that hate and anger is not the way foward, as Kakashi/Obito just showed him what real power is.

Kakashi made his name for being the copycat ninja. Remember when one of the sharingan if not the biggest ability was thought to be able to copy an opponents jutsu by hand signs (?).
