In related news, Eutechnyx Dave Thompson is regularly answering questions regarding the title in the his Twitter profile. Below are some of the most interesting things that have been mentioned in the past few days:
- Engines wont blow up
- Individually modelled victory lane for each track
- Extensive damage but no DNFs
- Off-line split-screen mode
- Tracks come with multiple racing grooves
- Fully modelled pre-race ceremony
- No day/night transitions
- Damage level wont be adjustable
- AI drivers will make mistakes
- Tire wear is simulated, break wear isnt
NASCAR fans outside of the United States will have a harder time getting their hands on the upcoming title as NASCAR The Game wont be sold in Europe and other territories. Importing the title will be rather easy though as the Playstation 3 version will be completely region-free while the Xbox 360 version works in Europe, Australia & North America.
