Grubb said a big Xbox game slipped into 2026, people were like "Oh its probably Gears: E-Day, Fable is not getting delayed guys" when there was nothing to indicate Fable was ready based on every showing. IJ actually had real gameplay when it was shown

And when that was said in Dec... Fable was still on track for 2025. The only indication Gears E-Day is 2025 is historic trends of Gears games being announced one year in advance of release and Tom W saying in June that Gears had 2025 release as a possibility.

I don't game on Xbox (nothing personal my green brethren) - the one game that excited me however was Fable, and I was actually considering purchasing an Xbox just to play it. If true that it's coming day one to PS5 then I will be a very happy person.

I'm also not to bummed about the delay, if it needs more time in the oven then so be it because it's more likely we'll get a polished experience.

I wish someone would put Xbox out of its misery. It's pathetic to see it brought so low that they might release flagship games on a competing platform and their biggest rival day 1.

Just shut down the console. It's dead anyway. Simply release games for PC/PS and stop wasting your time with that dead weight of a console.

It's an important release as it's thought of in the same group as Halo, Gears and Forza. They should delay it as long as they need to or cancel it before releasing something mediocre.

Right cause great games don't flop. I don't think it's about tricking people into buying the game, whatever that means... it's about being part of the hype cycle. When this game releases the ps5 will be at 90mil sold at minimum that's a lot of potential customers. Indy would have did a lot better as a day one multiplate than it did as a xbox console exclusive.

2028 were the last reliable reports on a target, from Tom Henderson himself, who was responsible for the PS5 Slim, PS Portal and PS5 Pro leaks.

But man, this game is looking awesome. I love the Fable games, and i'm so happy to finally get a new one!!
Too bad it's delayed, but 2025 is packed with exciting games so i'm cool with this.

One (PS5) a lot more than the other (Xbox). At this point market momentum is so far ahead for PS5 that even GTA6 will do little for Xbox. Sure it might be Day 1 on both, but enhanced GTA3 & Vice City ports did little for the OG Xbox back in the day, and those were big releases for their time as well.

Most people will want to play GTA where their friends are, and where they see other people buying the game. By having more than 3x the current-gen market share and no PC version Day 1, PS5 is likely going to get at least 80% of all GTA6 sales in the first six months - one year. After all PS5 itself already has over 75% of the current-gen market share.

I feel pretty confident on that.
