So Tyron Lue is resting LeBron James smh, he should not even been the east coach

what the fuck is tyron lue doing? put the stars back in.

The dude is clueless, the fans voted in the stars and he's not even playing his starters down the stretch

They need to have some kind of reward (like home court advantage in the Finals) for the winning team in order for this game to mean something. Every year it turns into more of a snoozefest. And that sucked that they wouldn't let PG13 break the record.

No no no.

Nooooooo.

Not that.

Paul George aint shit
Westbrook aint shit

they won't let a B star get the record ;p

if KD, LeBron were a bucket away from the record they would let one of them get it

No. Let it be what it is. This is a vacation for most of these guys.

Yes, sacrifice the season-long motivation to have the best record all so you can make a meaningless game a little less meaningless.

It usually gets tight near the end but Lue didnt put the east starters back in during the normal time 8 mins left in the 4th, LeBron, Melo, Wade, those the guys who would take it seriously and get the game close. Wall and PG was playing great too, but he kept Isaiah Thomas in who was bricking smh

More like a practice session with All Stars friends. For me its a bit lame, that's all Im saying. Make it mean something and have the players WANT to win it. A REAL competitive ASG would be amazing, not a glorified 5 on 5 practice or exhibition session.

Yeah, I don't think they can ever make the all-star game truly meaningful like that. Just feels weird and I'd be worried about injuries.

this will never happen. as soon as you are playing for something, no matter how small, players start trying. and as soon as they start trying, someone gets injured. and that's bad news.

all star game always has been and always will be a fun exhibition game for the stars. the best you can expect is something like a couple years ago when kobe started playing game 7 d against lebron, lol

naw it's ok...this is just pure fun for those guys...let it be what it is...I'd rather not have the best NBA players get hurt over what is just an exhibition match.
