all these millennials not giving MJ the proper respect.

Wait, I bet they think Russel, Kareem and Bird are lesser players than the guys out there now as well. I bet they think today's hip-hop or rap is better than the late 80's through the 90's as well...
Well I mean...

LeBron: In his prime was a 6'8 255 lb. Freight Train with killer speed and athleticism. Also not an asshole to teammates except Mario Chalmers.

MJ: In his prime a 6'6 230 lb panther who was and is a fucking psycho.

You have two wonderful offensive and defensive players who have the drive to destroy their opponent.

One of them makes their teammates better, the other just pissed em off

That is how they made them play better. They didn't want to invoke his wrath.

Honestly, only stat worth talking about, if you make your team better or not.

And yet the Bulls were a better team while Cleveland looks dysfunctional half the time

I think I would pick Jordan to be on my team. Because even though Lebron is bigger and maybe better physically. I think my team would have the bigger chance of winning the championship with Jordan. He does well under pressure.

Tell that to Chris Bosh and Kevin Love.

LeBron turns everyone into catch & shoot players, gets them open 3's. He's good at that, but it doesn't necessarily make them better players. The LeBron offense needs another star scorer and ballhandler next to him (Wade, Kyrie), while the rest just become 3 and D guys.

He typically takes the point guard out of his role on offense, and he lets the media bury his teammates whenever things start going wrong. We've all seen it numerous times... When the team is winning, LeBron is brilliant and is making everyone better. But when they're losing, suddenly everyone is dogshit and LeBron has no help. I've seen Wade, Bosh, Kyrie, Love, and various good role players get thrown under the bus to excuse LeBron.

People saying Lebron is as athletic as he ever was obviously never watched him before 2010.

Dude had strength and size, vertical ,straight line speed/quickness and lateral speed out of this world.

Today's version has strength and size, a decent vert and more agility but his quickness and end to end speed is severely diminished.

Tell that to Chris Bosh and Kevin Love.

There's an argument for Bosh but Love has absolutely no game outside of catch and shoot. He is basically force fed in the post at times and cannot do anything down there.

Lebron doesn't need "scorers" next to him. CLE's best lineup by far this year is Deron, Korver, LBJ, Frye and TT. Lebron needs smart players that can penetrate the defense on P & Rs and kick out if need be, swingers to move the ball and shooters. Guys that can do a combo of those things typically work the best.

Kyrie is still a very poor decision maker and shot creator for others. If his shot isn't falling he's basically as worthless as Curry can be. Wade on the other hand is a very smart player and can make great plays even if his shot is broken.

Love wasn't a catch and shoot specialist in Minnesota. He was padding on a weak team, but still, dude was putting up stupid numbers inside and out. 30/30 games. He regressed tremendously in the move to Cleveland.

Point is, LeBron turned two highly coveted team-leading stars into stretch role players who can disappear from time to time. The narrative that he makes everyone around him better is overstated.

and no one would fucking pick WIlt over either of them, unless you're looking to win regular season only

If you're talking sheer statistical dominance, like pure basketball potential removing intangibles and crazy drive to win and shit like that (which was the idea), there's no player that had a career like Wilt.

Love's numbers are not really that far off from his Minnesota days. He definitely used to be more potent down low but I think that has more to do with his weight loss and him being even more undersized than anything with Lebron.

Stephen A Smith said that he would rather have Washington Wizards frontcourt over the Raptors's frontcourt.

EDIT: Well I can understand the case for the backcourt.

What an absolute joke of a statement

I am done. I will never post anything news worthy from him again. I apologize GAF I have in the past but no more

Fuck Pat. Fuck all these guys, owners on down, who cut people mercilessly, than catch feelings when the big show leaves town. Fuck him.

If I like Lebron, it's because I like the idea of the player becoming a larger force. There's good and bad to the big 3 and the Warriors but now the players are making a bigger decision. Lebron's first stint in Cleveland was a disaster. Wasted talent while an owner and whothefuckever plays tiddlywinks or whatever with seasons.

How many fans are suffering due to terrible coaches, GMs and owners? These players sacrifice a lot and it's terrible to see their talents wasted because management has a lot of money but no talent. Fuck Riley. He's a HOF, an elite coach and did a decent job. But fuck you. For every player who got released and never got a phone call. For every expendable player. For every player who took a pay cut for the team and was never rewarded.

Fuck you Riles. Each shit and rebuild. I don't give a fuck about his personal feelings. I'm laughing at him being the jaded lover, carrying around his rings and jewelry while Lebron can't even pay attention to his song and dance.

This movement, of the player obtaining more power, is bigger than Lebron and KD. It's MJ getting shafted in his last years in Chicago. It's Barkley having to leave Philly. It's KD suffering under Scott Brooks. It's Mike Brown getting rehired in Cleveland. It's Isiah Thomas getting another chance in NY. Fuck every one of those situations.

MJ Was a better Scorer and Defender, Lebron was a better passer and rebounder.

Lebrons played in 1 less season then MJ. MJ had 6 chips, Lebron has 3. Lebron has also probably had better teammates then Lebron.

Honestly, Lebron is just above Larry Bird now. He's got a long way to go before he competes with MJ
