My local CBS is showing the Wash-Louisville game. What am I missing in the Chicago game?? Is it really that close?

Man... if the Illini go down, I'm doing a lot better in my office pool.

For some reason, Washington decided it would be a good idea to play a zone against Louisville...

What? Wow that's dumb, I was wondering how Louisville went from being down by 8 to winning by 13 :lol

I'd be worried if I were the Illini.

Mccantz didn't do shit in the first half and Illinois couldn't put UW-M away. He'll heat it up in the second half and the upset will commence!

i'm all for refs letting the guys play the game, but that first half in the illinois game was goddamned street ball.

Louisville/Washington should of been a elite 8 game, not sweet sixteen. Sort of tough for Washington to face such a good 4 seed as a 1 seed. Good win for Louisville, and good win for my bracket.

Illinois is just too good. UWM had a hell of a run, and they'll be back next year.

And wow Washington got spanked. I thought the game would be a little closer than that.

The announcers are retarded. "Louisville heads to Saint Louis." Well, I'll admit odds are good, but uh, they have to play again Saturday first...haha.

Sweet, Illini in the Elite Eight. Let's not stop there fellers.

WTF!?! No bench points for the Illini in this game? Starting 5 scored ALL of Illini's points in the game. :lol

god ok. st. would have destoyed everyone so far if joey could make a freakin' shot. he gets perfect position and just misses the shot. from 17 ppg to 7. ugh.

also, i like Jay as an announcer....but jesus christ, his partner is just awful. utterly awful.

West Virginia in another great game, although WVU trying to give it away at end with the shot clock violations.

How about this? The Scorecard predicts this as the outcome of the third round...

99.49% chance that Illinois defeats Wisc. Milwaukee.
73.78% chance that North Carolina defeats Villanova.
72.68% chance that Kentucky defeats Utah.
69.19% chance that Duke defeats Michigan St.
65.22% chance that Wisconsin defeats North Carolina St.
62.19% chance that Arizona deats Oklahoma St.
61.81% chance that Texas Tech defeats West Virginia.
52.65% chance that Washington defeats Louisville.

So, it is predicting the upset for Arizona, and Louisville, West Virginia, and North Carolina St. are the next most likely to pull the "upsets." In its history, Scorecard has been right about 75% of the time in predicting the outcome of games.

So, if you're a betting man, take the Scorecard prediction for 6 of the games, and then take 2 of the closer predictions to stray.

Scorecard was wrong on the two games it was least sure of. PErhaps not surprising. Now to see if Arizona pulls through or not.

Damn, another great game. Joey Graham with the to go up by 1 with 15 seconds left, then Stoudamire with a great shot. Still 2 seconds left.

I didn't get to see more than a minute of the game last night... So I wasn't able to tell, how bad is Head's injury? We need him for his offense and especially his defense. The Illini are considerably weaker without him at full strength.

word i'm in 1st place. I'm sure that won't last long as Cuse and Oklahoma are both gone... UNC is my only chance at points tonight

He seemed pretty good last night. He was using a heating pad when he was on the bench, though.

Yeah, they're hot. They won't be able to keep that up though, so they better play good defense and not foul Wisconsin. They're already in foul trouble.

Good game so far between MSU and the Dookies. My bracket is so destroyed it really doesn't matter who wins at this point :lol

Wow, Wisconsin needs to settle down. 9 turnovers in the first half? That's more than they usually give away in entire games. Altough to be fair, some of those traveling calls were VERY suspect.

Wilkonsin is out for the rest of the half, but if they can keep it close then they are still in it.

Jesus, for as bad as Wisconsin played (and they were TERRIBLE on the offensive end; some of the worst I've seen them play all year), they are still in the game. I guess the joke is right, first team to 50 wins

I can't take the east coast bias anymore from these damn announcers.

Please win Wisconsin and Michigan State and you'll do a double punch!

Punk those damn east coast bias annoucners and punk the ACC!!! :D

That just may happen, and if it does, i'll have a smile bigger than the one my PSP gave me playing it the first time.

:D

Wow, so I guess Hodge is free to run wild into anyone wherever he wants and draw a foul? These refs have east coast bias too.

What the shit! Hodge ran Morley over and then kicked it out for a 3! That was a major charge!

Another guy Hodge knocked down! The last three drives he has ran into 3 guys with NO CALL.

Isn't "east coast bias" generally reserved for fans of west coast teams to complain about? Not teams from the midwest? You don't hear Kentucky fans complaining about it, and we're no more "east coast" than Michigan State.

MrBob is just too dumb to realize that Michigan State is an "east coast" team in the basketball world.
