If it's organized by the university (as it was proven to be at UT) it can get the NCAA's attention. But truthfully there's always going to be a group of possibly crazy people who desire nothing more than to get with star athletes.

Yeah I've been at parties where back up kickers on bad 1AA teams have had to beat the girls off with a stick after they found out he's on the football team.

My friend Matt was a really good small school athlete and he had a GF in college AND was banging a smoking hot 24yo teacher at the same time. He's an ass haha.

Even just assuming no college girl of age 17–19 would dare engage with someone one or two years younger since they're still in high school, we're talking about "kids" who are taller and more athletic than 99% of all men and are essentially celebrities with massive paydays coming their way within a year or two.

Also, there truly is a segment of the population that preys on celebrities looking for a meal ticket or something. I'd bet you that all/most collegiate teams have a known list of girls to avoid on campus—I know that's the case in Lexington.

(And not to get too into legality, I'd bet there were heaps of girls ranging from teeny boppers to cougars that would've gladly said hello to Justin Bieber without waiting until he hit the magic 18.)

In this day and age anyone who wants to know will know when a recruit is coming to campus (whether online or just word of mouth). And if they didn't they'll get a text or see a tweet alerting them to the fact.

And while I can't remember the details, I've also heard there are sites/services built around knowing when professional athletes are socializing near you.

Age of consent is 16 in Florida so long as the second(or third) party is not over 23 or something. So if they see a star athlete in the making..... all bets are probably off.

These athletic depts are pros at this shit. The smart ones leave nothing to chance w/ schemes like this. Everything is planned from what you eat to who you meet.

Sometimes they just got put together and let things happen naturally. Like "julie's gonna show you a nice night out. dont have too much fun now. *winkwinknudgenudge*" Hospitality is encouraged but not required.

Or the other one is that they just send girls up to whatever room youre staying at and its pretty simple there. Either way its not like the girls arent eager, willing participants in the scheme. The first scenario is less illegal.

I think the Zags win too. Paul will probably be the best player on the floor on both ends, but he'll need some help to overcome the thousands of post points Gonzaga's big men will put in over 40 minutes.

Abrams and JoeBert are the X-factors. Also, if we shoot 50% on 3s we probably win no matter what happens, so there's that option.

I know anytime you're projected for lottery you have to take it, but this years draft is pretty weak. I think a year in Groce's system would have prob put him in the Top 5 for this year.
