Calipari's first home loss. Wow.

Can't believe how bad we were at finishing on offense. So many inside shots missed. And so many dumb turnovers. Ugly game overall.

Kentucky has a lot to work on that's for sure. Though at least Harrow showed a tiny spark towards the end.

But Virginia just announced their loyalty like 4 minutes ago. Realignment, make it stop.

UConn, Cincy, come on down.

Oh, I like how the ACC presidents unanimously decided to file suit against Maryland for the payment of the exit fee, knowing that probably half of them were hoping to lose.
All this realignment is going to look so stupid in 20 years when cable TV is dead and concussions have radically changed college FB...

But in the mean time: Eff it, let's just annex half the ACC and call it a day. UVA, UNC, GA Tech, Duke, you're in!

And we shall call it the "B1G East".

Eh, I think 2 years ago Alabama almost won the regular season SEC championship and got left out of the tournament. So dominating the SEC isn't going to buy you much.

If we were on the bubble they'd let us in on name alone I'm guessing. Gillispie had to do some pretty crazy shit to keep us out of the tournament.

Besides, we're a football school now.

I can see UVA and UNC apart of the Big 10, but I cant picture GT.

GT academics are much better, and their football tradition is much better. It's a better pick really than UNC/UVA. I think they can also fill their stadium with something other than trees.

New polls are out.

No UNC, Kentucy, or Mich. St in Top 25. When the hell is the last time that happened? I'm willing to bet DECADES.

Edit- Woops. Was looking at just one writers poll. Oh well, woulda been interesting.

So if we win against Western Carolina on Tues and then against Gonzaga on Saturday the Illini would be looking at entering the Top 10. Insanity! Competely, undoubtedly undeserved but I won't complain.

Coaches are sucking Kentucky dick so good. 4-3 and still #19!

Well, we're still 12th in kenpom and will win our next four easily. I don't really care where we're ranked, just that we get some momentum going into the UofL game. If we win that one against the odds, everything turns rosy again.

Ga Tech is not a better school than UVA or UNC lol

Don't mind alstein, as a wuffie I think he's conditioned to hate all things UNC.

It definitely is for engineering. I don't even think nationally that many know UVA is a top academic school.

lol wut? They're ranked as the #2 public university in the nation!

Public schools:

#2 UVa
#5 UNC
#7 GT

Among all national universities:

I meant, if you ask a random person in say Arizona how good UVA is, I doubt they would know. I didn't realize how good it was till my senior year of HS when I started applying to schools. I'm sure everyone around Virginia knows how good it is, but I doubt the general US population does. I doubt it has same kind of brand recognition as like Berkley.

PS: lol usnews

It just so happens that the I-95 corridor is the most densely populated region in the United States. :3
