Hey guys I need your advice. I have my old PC (back-up) but I'm looking to upgrade the video card.

The one I have inside now is an ATI 9550 flashed to a 9600XT. I have a chance to get a Leadtek nVIDIA GeForce 6200. The card is unlocked to 6600 speeds I think it can OC all the way to 450//715.

Which would be better?

Thx,

There probably isn't much difference between a 9550 flashed to a 9600XT and 6200 running at 6600 speeds. I'll try and find some comparisons

I'm not familiar with the 6200 or regular 6600, but I'm guessing it's about the same if not slower as a 9600XT.

Any upgrade should be 6600 GT or higher. What are your other specs? CPU, RAM? I ask because there will be a point when your processor would be the bottleneck and any video card above a certain speed would perform the same.

Well on this PC it's a AMD 2800+ Barton 2.087GHZ, 1GB DDR PC2700 OCZ Gold and of course the 9600.

I know a big upgrade is a 6600+ but I'm not planning to spend that much money on a back up PC my main machine already has a Asus 6800Ultra PCI-E
