So barely anything has been written for Intergalactic yet, according to his post? So PS6. Zero output from ND this gen. Wow.

Good for the next game. Bad for the show, I think.

I wonder what caused this sudden change in plans. Did Craig want even more cheese and immaturity in Abby's storyline? I felt like Neil's directed episodes struck the right balance. Will still watch it, I guess... but I'm skeptical for the show now.

So after season 2 got grilled at the end, and viewership in those later episodes dropped vs season 1, he now bails ship. lol
It's the perfect time for him to do so.

He claims his work is completed, so if season 3's reception is good he can be thanked.

If it is not good then he can say that he wasn't there to oversee it's quality. It is a win-win for him.

'writing and directing our exciting new game... long with my responsibilities as studio head and head of creative...'

well, this sorta explains everything, eh?...

Well, the good news is season 3 is much easier to write. The bad news is Mazin just has no concept of the characters. The real challenge is going to be how they end it considering they took the end porch scene out of it already. I wonder if it even makes it to season 4, I think a lot of people are not going to tune in to a season about Abby and viewership will drop even more.

I guess he felt it was wrong to go away for a long time to produce and direct a TV show. He is head of the game studio. Who knows if the team felt that he was away too much.

Good. This pretty much tell that the season 2 where is based on the TLOUS Part 2 flopped. Who would imagine that the part 2 of the show would flop too?

Now fire him from ND.

Go away and never come back you freak.

Its been one good news to another. Xbox demise, Phil fired retiring, Kotaku sold off again, what other wonderful surprise is coming?

The ironic part in all of this. It shows the game was far more nuanced and better written than the nuHollyweird and their "on the nose" clownish dialogue, casting and edits/changes.
