Baron said:Man, all this heartache and trouble you guys are going through to get one of those Madcatz sticks - I am so glad I have no interest in them whatsoever. I'm perfectly happy with my litany of HRAP sticks. Also, I don't really like character or game art on my sticks - it's a bit distracting. I think Hori's stick art is stylish and non-descript.
That said, the more people getting any kind of arcade stick, the better - I look forward to kicking your asses in SFIV. >D

In my opinion, you're fine. All that counts is the email.
MarkMan said:I don't know if I'm allowed to explain the issue here. Let's just say newer arcade sticks can't use what they did before![]()

chaoticprout said:Yeah me too. I don't know what happened but my 3 Capcom orders didn't go through.
FordStang said:When did you order?
polyh3dron said:You should have got a VSHG when they were being made, I think mine were $70 each IIRC from Play-Asia.

Cali based retailer is taking pre-orders for the TE stick for the unfortunate few that haven't got their name in for one yet. Not sure how reputable they are though.
sanwa are pretty much considered the best. unless you prefer american style buttons. or want clear buttons you can mod with lights.Linkhero1 said:To anyone who is getting a standard edition for SF IV stick. Which buttons are you going to replace the stock buttons with? Which are the best? Thanks

I know the owner there. They're pretty good plus they sometimes get their stock in earlier than retail, especially for Japanese releases.Ravenn17 said:360

If you live in the Pasadena, CA area, it would be of your best interest to actually go to the store and preorder with them in person.chaoticprout said:I called them. He was pretty honest about not knowing how many they were getting, but yeah, I'm going to wait on a for sure opportunity.
I can stop by and ask the owner tomorrow before work.MarkMan said:Can someone please inquire with japan video games and ask them who their distributor is?

Supposedly it's very easy. I'm doing the SE for my brother.Fletcher said:How hard will it be to change the buttons on the standard stick? Will you be able to change the joystick itself easily?

haunts said:I played pretty extensively on the regular FightStick last night.. Im starting to really like it.. It's a whole hell of a lot better than it used to be and much more responsive than the hori ex 2s.
Markman said:To be fair, most reviewers probably won't even know/touch on the *hidden* features of the standard fight stick. It's all good though![]()

I played on a prototype FightStick a while back (3 months?) and felt the build quality was good but the actual stick would have to be replaced, but with this newer model, after spending more than just a couple matches on it (I had to test certain stuff for hours last night) and I'd say it's fine right out of the box.
Can someone link me to the IGN review? I saw the Kotaku one which was a joke. Those guys should just stop covering fighting games altogether.![]()

It's still a good stick, much better than any other stock stick out there under 100 bucks. I mean I did Balrogs c.lp x2, c.lk, ex dash upper, c.lp, c.lk, ex dash upper, c.lp, c.lk, buffalo headbutt into ultra on it last night on it if that's any indication. :lol
