it doesn't seem to have a PS button. are you sure you don't have another controller taking slot 1? try to remember the order in which you plugged it in when it worked. turn on PS3 at console unit and plug in controller w/adapter? turn on ps3 with wireless controller? etc etcAgentOtaku said:FUCK!!!
For some reason my PS3 stopped recognizing my HRAP2:SA!
I plug in it via the USB adapter and it just fails to register at all despite the fact it was working perfectly this morning!
My laptop still recognizes it perfectly though everytime I plug it in
Any ideas why this would happen?
I was hoping my HRAP2 was gonna be used with everything I owned and wouldn't have to buy a stick specifically for my PStriple =(

Ball or bat?FordStang said:I would like a white joystick for my hrap3. which one do i get? I'm confused on which one will fit in my hrap3
corkscrewblow said:Ball or bat?
FordStang said:what's better? is it just personal preference? I would think I would like a bat better, but everyone i see posting thier arcade sticks has a ball....so i would be fine with either one
FordStang said:I can just replace the ball on the stock joystick that comes with the hrap3, right? If I wanted to just replace the ball of my hrap3, should i buy the SANWA JB-35 or SANWA JB-45?? Do both fit or would only one of these fit?
Ryder said:Yes, the stock joystick on the HRAP3 is actually a Sanwa JLF (which, while technically "stock", is a damn fine stick!), so any ball or bat top that you see here that specifically says it's compatible with a Sanwa JLF, you're golden. There are a few that aren't compatible out of the box, but require a small adaptor that they also sell on that site.

If I had one I'd build my own shrine dedicated it and never remove it from it's box.
One of these days all of us in this thread should post our sticks. I think I only have 8 or 9, so I'm probably on the low end in relation to how much time I spend here :lol

hori stick for ps3, what's the general consensus about it? : )[/QUOTE]
Probably best to avoid that one unless you don't mind soldering it at some point in future.

hidepsyence said:Thanks, so, what would you suggest for a similar price (i'd get the hori one for about 60 euros/80 dollars)?

The EX contains a stick from Sanwa and proprietary Hori buttons (which can easily be replaced with Sanwa or Seimitsu buttons) while the EX-SE comes with a Seimitsu stick and buttons preinstalled.Alski said:Have have a noob question for some of you prostars.
What is the difference between the Hori Real Arcade Pro.EX and the Hori Real Arcade Pro. EX-SE?
And what is the general feeling about the EX?

They're both fine sticks.
In addition to what Lee N said, Sanwa is generally preferred for fighters and Seimitsu is generally preferred for shmups. Seimitsu sticks have a tighter throw than Sanwa and Seimitsu buttons don't activate as easily as Sanwa. It's down to your personal preference.Alski said:Have have a noob question for some of you prostars.

If you're a collector, the Seimitsu (EX SE) will generally be more scarce than the regular HRAP EX.
Tough call if I had to go one way or the other. If I swapped the stock Hori buttons on an HRAP for Sanwa to get comparable performance to the TE, the TE would still have more features and cord storage.Alski said:So with that said (for your personal taste) you would get the Mad Catz TE Stick rather then the Hori's? Or would you get a Hori and switch out the buttons?
I am not a collector, I just want the best experience possible for the best price available.

Play-asia shipped my HRAP SF IV stick early. Not quite as cool as the tourney but one for the collection. I've got six white and two black sanwa buttons waiting so it will mimic my forthcoming tourney sticks.
Anybody else getting one in? I'm sure MarkMan has one arriving.

Yes Boss! said:Got and EX-SE coming as well but it hasn't shipped yet. NCX says between the 6th and the 10th so it should be here sometime next week. Chomping at the bit for that one!
Well, in that post he said NCX, I assume he means NCSX. Their website has prices.Alski said:Where did you order you EX-SE from, and if you don't mind me asking, what did it set you back?
