I've been taking time in toward the end of my company breaks to hop into Community, and Off-Topic. I check through here and I can't say I disagree at all with the recent bans. I don't like sounding like a broken record but why are people so insistent on getting worked up with politics in a gaming forum? Sometimes it even makes the console warriors getting banned seem more dignified.

permed? I don't think he was being disrespectful in the context of the conversation (unless rude PMs were sent) . It just seems some members are genuinely trying to distinguish what is conspiratorial and what isn't.

He's genuinely a very good poster and it seems that the frustrations he may felt that were happening in the wider environment were seeping here. This forum is one of the very few forums that fosters allows the exchange of ideas along a political spectrum but it seems one half of that spectrum has been slowly removed over time and that not due to moderators fault.
Conservatives or at times moderates (like myself) in general, we firmly believe in the right or freedom of speech. Now of course that doesn't mean we all believe that all speech or thoughts should be allowed or be given a platform e.g hate speech, advocating violence, pedophilia etc.
But when you see a slow movement that shifts that goal post on what can and cannot be said it becomes a problem and I understand that it can become a problem for the site and its moderation.
However you can see as this shifting in the goal post becomes more prominent over time it, certain members, more so conservative members will be banned because its an attack on our very political values which almost has become a religious attachment.
I hope we can find the balance in the future rather than lose some great members .

He wasn't being direct about his criticisms, some people may refer to it as a "Sneak Diss," and he's been doing it across multiple threads
I have to respectfully disagree with anything you mention about the change in moderation having to do anything in particular about partisan issues, or that it's targeting users of any specific political spectrum
He's sitting in Subway saying they don't have real tuna; people don't care about your party lines when you're stirring shit (Especially when you've been doing it over a month)

If you’re seeing a wave of conservatives or moderates leaving Bc of a change in policy it doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re only leaving or speaking out because of the policy.
They could interpret it as a direct attack on their belief structure, for example Freedom of Speech.
I’m just saying that for future policy changes we should keep this in mind especially if you want an inclusive community.
Balancing personas and opinions is very hard to do so I don’t expect an immediate response or policy to fix that.

Why did I get thread banned from my own thread about the police abusing a 9yr old girl in politics?
I know I got heated about people trying to excuse the abuse, but its not anything different than I have seen in threads in the past. The worst I said was somebody was being intentionally stupid. That's it. Meanwhile I have been called a retard and a cunt before in other threads with no moderator intervention whatsoever.
I understand the politics section has new rules, but if the line is drawn at calling people stupid for trying to defend child abuse I need to know.

It depends on the day and how my medication interacts with me
Sometimes I do have a tougher time controlling my left side than my right side, so I'll prefer to chew on the right side of my mouth
Though, I just got a recent crown on the right side because of that, so I'm being a bit more careful, and even if it hurts I'll chew on the left side for a little bit
As far as diarrhea coming out of my mouth, that doesn't really happen, though it would probably cause me to go to my gastroenterologist again if that did end up occurring. I'm not sure if crohns can cause that, and I'm pretty sure my flop meds don't
