Postage costs are bloody steep though! =/
Whaaaat? How much did your package weigh?Ryaaan14 said:Just shipped my candy at the postal service, and brought one of the flat-rate boxes up to the counter and the guy working was straight up like "You don't want that box, it's going to cost about $45" "Yeah well that's what I expected to pay" "Grab a regular box over there and it'll only be like $15."
So wow, ended up being $20 to ship from the US to UK. Pleasant surprise there.
It was only like 3 lbs.Chairhome said:Whaaaat? How much did your package weigh?
What's a banana doing there?!? Get that hideous thing out of those pictures!Chairhome said:Lookie what came in this morning!

Tea and Toast hooked me up. You've made a friend for life, son! Haha. I feel bad, cause you have a lot more variety than I put in yours. Lesson learned: many bags of smaller portions is better than bigger bags with less variety. I'm really worried I didn't get enough stuff you might not have, but hope you enjoy mine, though!
Unboxing video with my kids (wife behind the camera) (sorry, I couldn't help myself. Turn your volume down when the candy comes out.) (still processing, it'll be better quality in a few minutes)
If you just want to see the candy, go to 1:15 ish.

Kinda had me worried when I opened the box and saw nothing but MLP. lol I found it pretty funny though and I thought the MLP candies were pretty good anyway. I wasn't expecting a game though so thanks a bunch for that!
Now I'm regretting not personalizing my package to you more.I had to use my transformer to take the pics since I couldn't find my camera. lol
Thanks for the treats Emmanuel.
Oh, the chocolates weren't that melted at all so that made me feel good about the candies I sent you.![]()
Thanks! They have their moments. Probably just behaving so they can get candy! Haha.Seam said:You have such cute and well behaved kids =D.
I think my question got lost, but I'm about to ship and wondering what's an adequate delivery time to choose, since there are a few options that vary widely in price.J. M. Romeo said:Nice! Looks like this is going faster than expected.
Now, one more thing: did anybody get left behind at this point? I've been knee deep in work as of lately but maybe we can do some emergency relocation of swappers if there is an even number.
Fingers crossed!

Now I regret not filling the whole box with nothing but My Little Pony candy
Enjoy!!

Coins said:Well, I responded to my dude once and said the price was cool that he had asked about. he sent something about the preferences of candy so I replied again but I guess he never got that. Then he posts in the thread that he found a new partner so I said, ok. I get home tonight and my wife tells me she bought 60 bucks worth of candy for the swap since Ive been working so much. (Im a mailman and everyone is calling in sick from the heat).
No partner so I just threw it in the dumpster. =x
I did get back. Then you responded and I sent a response to that which you said was blank. No biggie. I was online because I glance at the OT in between loops of mail.J Tourettes said:Bit extreme, you could've just read on here to see plenty of people still willing to swap. Could've tried getting back to a pm once in a while too as you was online often enough.

Yeah! I just found the note, thanks! I haven't tried a lot yet, but so far it's great. Hope you like mine! Sorry I didn't have the foresight to put as much variety as you did!Tea and Toast said:Wooooah, that got to you so quickly. When did I post it, Wednesday? And you got it Friday, that's insane.
I hope you love all of the stuff and weren't disappointed at all. There is something surreal about seeing the stuff I sent you on video............. and those pictures with your kids are lovely.
I cant wait to see what I get!
(I did leave a note in the box, I'm not sure if you got it judging by the video)
