How are you liking it? I was just looking at this and its smaller 24" counterpart and I'm kind of curious. Any hick-ups or anything that's irked you with it?
None so far, although I've only used it as a computer monitor via HDMI - works fantastic. Having a little difficulty calibrating it to my liking however I doubt it's the monitor's fault.

Xmas Presents
Never had Rock Band and the instruments before so went and got this since the price had dropped to 200.

Impossible :( It'd take me a whole weekend just to get all the boxes together in one place. These things are HEAVY. lol.

:(

But you could start a whole new thread called, " MarkMan isn't crazy, he just really really likes arcade sticks." ;p

Seriously though, I'd love to see the massiveness of your collection. It has to be legendary.

360-controllah for PC so I can play Dirt2 which I got with my graphics-card.

Sucks that it isn't wireless though. Otherwise a comfy controller, my right thumb hurts a little though, not sure how I had it positioned.

That is the tastiest shot of a controller I have seen. Congrats.

It was very... Blu Christmas. See what I did there?

You got your Casino and Raging Bull:

My three personal favourites - picture quality was awesome on all three of these. Oh, and you can just about see the crotch of my jeans (my jeans, not my actual crotch!) poking in at the bottom. A little post-Christmas treat for you there:

I'm yet to watch either of these, but I definitely am looking forward to it:

I saw - and loved - Moon in the cinema early this year and have always wanted to watch Twelve Monkeys:
jug4nc.jpg

Last but not least, the greatest sitcom off all-time side by side with the only two games I got this Christmas. My brother was meant to get me the latest Ratchet & Clank game but got me a (admittedly rather nice) jacket instead. The bastard!

Amongst the bunch of DVDs and books I received, the thing that I' most excited about:

Intuos4 Large Pen Tablet; the thing is sexy as hell :D Quite a nice upgrade from my mom's seven year old (and tiny) hand-me-down WACOM. Finally I can draw with my entire arm and not my friggin' wrist.

I've had an intuos3 for ages and since the damn things are nearly indestructable I can't get an excuse to get a new model anytime soon. But damn that looks slick, great pick-up!

to the people with pics taking problems:
use the makro function of your cam. it's for super close ups and every digicam has it.
you will be surprised

Damn, $5 each!? I've been meaning to pick up Valkyria Chronicles and Disgaea 3 and really wouldn't mind throwing them into my backlog if they were 5 bucks each.

My recent pick-ups/gifts in the last week:

Water Life. Blu-Ray box set. $19.99.
This is the lowest I've seen this set at Amazon. When it was first released, I was kicking myself for not picking it up at $41. In the past few weeks, the price would fluctuate anywhere from $49-$71. One day, I was randomly checking my wish list (as I always do) and noticed it dropped to $19.99. I'm not sure if it was part of a Christmas sale but I immediately placed the order. Unfortunately, it's not that great. I started up the first few episodes (they're in increments of half-hour segments) of Water's Journey and it just didn't impress me. Some shots/scenes are very detailed while others looked like they were recycled from older footage. The inconsistent quality in image and the erratic narration/awkward audio transitions make this doc difficult to enjoy. If the first disc I watched is any indication, I'm glad I only payed $20 for it. And no, it's not even comparable to Planet Earth or any of the BBC's nature docs.

Apple Remote. Apple. Free/Gift.
Got this from my secret santa coworker. It was quite funny when my other coworkers asked me what it was. "WHY DO YOU NEED A REMOTE TO CONTROL YOUR IPHONE?!" I explained to them that it was for my Macbook/Apple TV and everything is right in the world again. I'm going to sync this aluminum remote with my Apple TV whereas my old white remote will be synced with my Macbook.

Starbucks Gift Card. Amount: Unknown. Free/Gift.
From my auntie. She didn't write the amount down and instead, wrote "guess!". I'm hoping it's at least 15 bucks. That way, when I'm out with my friends, I don't yell out "drinks on me" only to have to pay the difference.
Givenchy Play. 3.3 fl oz Cologne. Free/Gift.
From my special lady friend. I really love the subtle smell this cologne gives off. I think I actually like it more than the Armani Code that I just bought for myself recently. She also got me a pimpin' red robe and a skinny black tie (both are not pictured).

4219189407_e5dcb23fe8_o.jpg

Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Dino Megazord. Free/Gift.
Quick and dirty picture. From my brother. When we were young, we've always wanted this but our parents would never buy it for us. Or rather, we would always pick something else when our birthdays/Christmas would come around. One year, I would pick a model naval battleship; another year I would get Karate Fighters (remember those?) and another a Super NES. For some reason, the Dino Megazord would always elude our wants due to other toys catching our interest. A decade and a half have gone by and now I'm 23. With no interest in the Power Rangers franchise or action figures/toys, this little package brought out some great childhood memories. Even if I'm not going to do anything with it, it's easily my favorite gift this season.

I just felt like buying something today, probably because I had to work, oh well.

Also bought Professor Layton en de Doos van Pandora (Dutch version) for my parents last week, hope they play together, my mom should like the story but she'll need my dad for the puzzles.

Sorry for the blurry iPhone photos. First off, an Aaron Rodgers bobblehead I received from a Secret Santa exchange.

Then I went nuts on my PSP Go this month. Really loving this thing.

And finally, my authentic Aaron Rodgers jersey. GO PACK!

So awesome. Always wanted one of those when I was a kid too. I did end up getting the slightly cheaper version, it wasn't quite as intricate only the legs came off still had fun with it though. Very cool gift.

Assuming you are using windows...

Windows key + R

Then type in diskmgmt.msc

your hard drive will show up there, make sure it is the external one (the one you need to format to FAT32 or NTFS). And you should be good to go.

My Asus G51 was by far my favorite pickup this year. Of course buying all the PC games I did this year certainly helped with that.

Just found these at a local convenience store! I'm in SE Pennsylvania if anyone else is looking. They had Pepsi Throwback as well, also with the old school label. The Dr. Pepper is WONDERFUL!
