I'm currently in Tokyo, Japan for some important work stuff. Which is good and bad. Good because I'm going to be going nuts while shopping as the dollar exchange rate is so good. Bad because I'm here for a few weeks and will probably spend way too much. lol. Here are my favorite pick-ups from January and some pick-ups from my Japan trip so far!

My pick-ups from January...

Dual wielding with the iPhone 6 & 6 Plus.

<3 Gina Darling (link may be slightly NSFW) got me some new shoes. I already have these but the white ones are my favorite of all time I don't mind having multiple pairs

New phone case! I'm a big fan of SLAM DUNK!

Still celebrating that 20th anniversary in style with my 20th anniversary PlayStation jacket!

Had to import these from EU. The Nike Blazer "Metric" !

... with the above two Air Jordan XI pick-ups (Space Jams & Anniversary) I only need ONE more XI to complete my collection >.> the Defining Moments Package (DMP) Air Jordan XI. >.>

Finally got to complete my Parasyte manga collection by getting the rest (already had the first few)...

Got a care package from my friends at NIKE! It was nice to come home from a long CES and see a huge box of fresh kicks for me. <3

Picked these up during CES week. Yes I'm aware I have too many pairs of shoes. This is what happens when I run out of arcade sticks/games to buy >.>

Haven't posted in this thread in a very long while, but my birthday was this week and I was snagging some pics of my things, anyway.

Girlfriend took me out for a nice steak dinner the night before... I was absolutely stuffed; my to-go box was about three pounds.

And she bought me some new shoes! I've wanted a pair of loafers for a while - she absolutely nailed what I was looking for. This is my fifth pair of AEs. She hooked me up with the extra set of shoe trees, I splurged on the matching belt yesterday.

She also signed me up for a "Sock-of-the-Month" club; my first pair actually happened to arrive on my birthday.

Mom took me out for pizza last night, and hooked me up with a Creative Cloud-linked Moleskine notebook

And then I splurged a little bit on new shoes tonight. The LeBron denims are for the office, and the FlyKnits are for my trip to DisneyWorld next week!

Oh, and a friend from work got me this:

And while it's been a while, I imagine the folks here would really like to see this Christmas gift I got last month from my mother:

Got lucky with Sheik as a couple Targets near me were selling them as soon as they got them. I nabbed the last one.

I believe the official date for Sheik is tomorrow, February 1st, but TRU got some of wave 3 early and was selling as of last week.

Now before someone says anything about the multiple amiibo:
2 of the Captain Falcon amiibo were for some Gaffers (one unfortunately "didn't" get to him), the third one was to be kept sealed because my first one had a huge cut from a box cutter when the GS employee opened the shipping boxes.

2x Rosalina for me (1 to open 1 mint), and a 3rd for a possible trade/giveaway if I can't get an extra of Shulk/Sonic/Lucina/Robin/Ness.

This month is gonna be hell with Nintendo.

I got a ton of great stuff in January but never had time to post any of it til now:

-First and foremost, I finally got a new phone! I'd been using a Samsung Epic 4G for the last 4+ years so this new GS5 is an amazing upgrade.
I got it for a great price and I love it so far!

-I found Scooby Doo & the Ghoul School (my childhood favorite!) at Five Below and got the other movies for $1-2 each at Goodwill.

-I tracked down several Blu-Rays I've been wanting at various resale shops for great prices!

-I got the vast majority of these books/guides at Goodwill, got the newer Nintendo guides 75% off at a TRU closing sale, and got the Mother 3 guide from the recent Kickstarter.

-I got the World of Nintendo plushies at a few different Target stores, found the Mega Charizard Y at TRU, and got the other Pokemon at a resale shop for $3 total.

-I got all of these at Goodwill - the Mario Kart set was $15, the smaller toys were 99 cents each, and the Pokemon card tins were 50 cents.

-I found all of these puzzles for 50 cents each at Half-Price Books and was pleased to find out every single one of them has all of its pieces!

-I got all of this stuff for $1-2 each at Goodwill/TRU's store closing.

-I got all of these super-cheap at Goodwill.

-More Goodwill pick-ups, haha! The GBA SP is an AGS-101.

-Ouya's seem to be completely disappearing from stores so I grabbed the last of each color at my local Target. I got the Gamestick for $17 from Gamestop and found the Atari Flashback at Goodwill for a few bucks.

-I got the Project Diva controller on Amazon for only $64.50 shipped!! A 3rd-party seller had it listed at $78 with only $6.50 shipping from Japan and I had a $20 GC. Plus it showed up in less than a week!
I got the Turbo Tap at Disc Replay and found all of the other controllers, even the XB1 CoD controller, at Goodwill.

-I decided to import a 2nd Gamecube Adapter & the White Smash controller from Japan, got the card cases from Club Nintendo, and got the JP 2015 calendar on eBay.

-My copy of One Piece for 3DS I ordered back in December finally showed up! The game is a lot of fun and I love the amiibo costumes!

-I found all of these super-cheap at various resale shops.

-I got all of these super cheap between various sales, stores, and promotions.

-I found the majority of these games for $2-3 each, replaced my copy of Dark Cloud, and finally got a Black Label copy of Crash Bandicoot, which means I now have zero Greatest Hits games in my PS1 collection!

-I got most of these for $3-5 each - Tenchu was $8 IIRC.

-I got all of these PC games & CDs for 99 cents each at Goodwill (GTA is the original, uncut version) and got my obligatory Game Boy phone case on eBay, haha.

-So I only planned to pick up a few of my favorite characters from the DI line but I found the 3 Marvel guys (and the Crystal Mickey) super-cheap at Goodwill!
Then, instead of buying just Stitch for $10 as I originally planned, I ended up getting this repackaged Starter set for $20.01!

-I found the Venom figure at Goodwill early last month and finally tracked down Pit to complete my Wave 2 set.

And last but not least, my first actual February pick-up:

-I had to brave a snowstorm to do it but I managed to get Rosalina at my local Target first thing this morning!
She was the only one I wasn't able to get pre-ordered so I'm extremely happy they had enough to go around for all 8 of us that showed up this morning.

Oh man I love IIDX. I had a modded PS2 and imported a bunch of the JP IIDX games but eventually my controller stopped working. I've always wanted to buy one of those sweet arcade-style controllers and get back into it but I just haven't been able to justify the cost taking into account the limited amount of time I have to play games these days.

I have been needing a new computer chair for a few months so before I went back to school I drove to the Need for Seat distribution location in the US and picked this up for myself. Super cool chair and I'm a big fan of C9.
