True, but that was in 2014. I mean there really was no competition compared to 2015. Even the WiiU had exclusives that might have dethroned Bayo for some people (MarioMaker and Splatoon)

Superb job as always on compiling and presenting the list. I really can't complain about the turnout; it was a great year for gaming. Splatoon over Mario Maker was also a pleasant result. Rocket League really deserved its spot, too.
In fact, since 2004, a console exclusive game has won GOTY every single year except for Portal 2 and Mass Effect 2.
Yeah, that award looked weird to me too. Rise of the Tomb Raider is on Xbox 360, so how can it win Xbox One exclusive?
They are probably considered the publisher of a lot of smaller Eshop titles and indies, similar to how MS published nearly everything in early Arcade days.

Have rocket league and batman and like them both a lot (rocket league would have been on my list if I weren't fucking trash at it). The rest I am mostly definitely interested in. Good recommendations.

Unless Uncharted 4 is complete shit, you can pencil it in now.
Uncharted 4 will win GotY easily.

The combat gets a lot of deserved attention, but two of my favorite things about are its level design and especially its lore. The latter in particular. It's so good.

Got 9 out of 10, just missed Life is Strange. And Xenoblade was #11 so I was almost perfect.

Bloodborne is just incredible. I've still to play The Old Hunters dlc as well.

Yeah, looking at that list, I'm pretty sure the overcomplicated naming led to some people voting "Trails in the Sky" when they meant SC.
Which would explain why a game that released almost 5 years ago in the West on PSP is the number one Vita game.
2011 even.
Edit : even if Trails FC is at 78 points and SC at 84, SC should have the Vita top spot, while it's nowhere on the list ?
who cares, its a great game and definitely deserving of an award. Definitely the best game I played on my Xbox One this year personally.

The conspiracy has been true for a while now.
I bet for most it read the title as Legened of Heroes or just Trails in the Sky and kept cutting everything else. I would laugh if that's all votes for both SC and CS hahahaha. Then again maybe many just didn't play CS yet, I know I'm still working on it since I played SC first. But yeah I'm positive it's meant to be FC there and not SC

I'm on four people's affinity lists, that feels pretty high for me. I'm really getting more and more mainstream every year. Not much I can say about the general results, I don't really care for most of the games that are ranked really high, for the most part not into those types of games. Cities: Skylines getting #21 is pretty good though
We'll have you munching on Doritos while watching The Game Awards in no time!

Organiser's did a nice job.
Didn't expect BB to win over W3 - not a huge amount between them though. Good list; imo 2015 was a good year overall.

I imagine Rise of the Tomb Raider would have been higher up in the rankings if it hadn't been exclusive to the least popular console (I love my Xbone, but this is just the truth). Fortunately it comes out on PC in 5 days and it's free with all new Nvidia GPU purchases so hopefully more people will see how excellent it is.
Great list overall though, Bloodborne #1 and Splatoon best shooter makes me happy.

This is list so anti-climatic.
It feels no different than the dozens of other 2015 GotY lists, with or without Bloodborne.
To be fair though Until Dawn and Rocket League are in there so there is that ubt otherwise.
Pretty dull unimpressive list, and not because of Bloodborne; Witcha 3 could be #1 and it'd still be a dull list.

Oh wow, I forgot it released on PS3 a full year after 360.
Anti-climactic is a good word for it. The writing was on the wall at *least* for the top 3 a few weeks ago.
But at the end of the day it's a popularity contest and GAF is a big forum. Don't put too much stock in it.
