$50 Canadian. Hardcover, 287 pages. It's really awesome. It was release around the time of Half Life 2. The forward by Gabe Newell is great, opening with how nervous he was about HL2. Haven't put too much time into it. But there is a ton of information about how each section of the game was designed.

Robotrek arrived today. I've been looking for a complete one for quite a while and now I found one for a very reasonable price. It's pretty much mint too, so I'm a happy camper!

What kind of cable are you using? composite?

How does it look? I've got a SCART for my SDTV and it looks alright, but on a HDTV it looks.. well, yeah.

Nice, there is something about complete SNES games that I just love as a collector. I like the boxes and love cartridges. More value and just hold more value then current media like cds and dvds.

After all the money I had to invest in my company I finally had some left this month. Luckily the Vaio was on sale for 777 and I couldn't resist! (i5-430m/HD5650). My god what an annoying software package it has though, fucking crazy. Took about an hour to install everything, and it'll probably take the same time for me to remove everything.

Haven't tried out the tablet yet, hope it's decent.

Just posting some minor pick-ups until I wait for my iPhone 4.

PS Move shirts that I got at the PS.Blog Meet-up before E3 and the other when I went to go play the Move at the Best Buy in Burbank.

Totally, with the odd exception, games nowadays have no real value. If something gets damaged, you just replace the case or get the disc polished. Cardboard boxes and cartridges aren't easily replaced or repaired and require care. It's a fairly rare thing to get older games in a decent- to good state. When you do get one, it automatically holds great value. To me anyway.

And lastly...Kele Okereke, frontman of Bloc Party just released a solo album called The Boxer! Can't wait to see him in July...like all Bloc Party stuff post-Silent Alarm, it's pretty polarizing but I really enjoy it. Key tracks: On The Lam, Unholy Thoughts, Yesterday's Gone, Rise.
