No, although that's not really a statement on PS3's lineup. I'm not into sports, racing, GTA, etc. I'm pretty picky about FPS. Only MGS I've played is Ghost Babel.

I suppose there's not much in Wii's future for me either, although Nintendo's offerings are a mystery right now. We'll see. Maybe more PS3 games will jump out at me once I'm actually onboard and looking at its lineup, but there's been relatively little igniting my tastes from casual glances.

Do Japanese consoles work in the states? I know they're both NTSC, but Japan is NTSC-J, and I don't really know if they're entirely different standards.

99% of games are region free AFAIK.

Only PS3 games are all region. Japanese PS1 and PS2 games will not work on a US PS3.

I live in Greece and I'm buying games from Hong Kong because here: Ninja Gaiden 2 PAL=70e + Grid PAL=70e that means 140e for 2 games that cost me 64e with shipping from play-asia.
