This is the first time in a long time that I have posted pics and that one FAQ thread said to use imgur and I have a barely working pc so I usually do all my tuff on a iPad so I hope this comes out right...
So I've been wanting to play a game that by now I know it would never come to the Wii VC. So I decided to buy it myself off of ebay and dig up my old N64.
But first I needed this:
The N64 Expansion Pack. But what game requires this and will never be on the VC...?
Yep the only 3D Donkey Kong game. Heard lot of bad stuff about it and I just had to try it because its Donkey Kong in 3D.
First of all the camera sucks. But the gameplay is very fun and I just got Diddy and am not regretting my $30 for the game and pack combo. Most of the control issues besides the camera is due to the fact that my controller's analog stick seems to move in a random direction when I'm not using it. Which is not to annoying except for when I jump on a tree and have to position myself to jump on a vine and fall off the tree lol.
But overall its a good game o far. Not great like other DKs but very good.
Also a note to the developers. Don't rip off your own game. The bananas and notes, the hub, even the music is just a bit to similer to Banjo Kazooie, feels like I'm plaing a B&K 3 instead of a Donkey Kong game. (Which aint a bad thing but still.)
Anywayz: Can't afford a new controller, I am literally that broke, beside Kid Icarus this will be my only purchase this month.

Picked up the digital release of Ridge Racer for the Vita. Kind of getting sick of changing game carts, to be honest.
And a couple PS3 games including The Show which is phenominal as usual.

Fuck all the haters man, DK 3D is a great game on its own. You'll be entertained for at least 20 hours, if you wanna take the completitionist road it can last hell knows how long. I wish I could have my copy back.

I can agree with that, just thought you might get clear boxes as standard somewhere in the world for a moment
If you want to take that a step further, apparently Donkey Kong 64 was going to be involved in the whole Banjo-Kazooie/Banjo-Tooie Stop N' Swop system. We can only dream of where that would have eventually taken us...

I'm enjoying it so far. It's a little simplistic, but it's still well put together and serves not only as a neat piece of fanservice but a fun little brawler. My understanding is that it's supposed to be somewhat short, but I can see it having some longevity in terms of replays and going for higher ranks.
Having Decade KAMEN RAIDO in on the switch, hearing this kick in and then D-D-DECADE Dimension Kicking some Zakus in the face is a lot of fun. The Gundams are probably my least favourite to play as. I was hoping RX-78 would bust out the Beam Saber as a standard attack but both it and Freedom are the designated ranged fighters.

Picked up Project Mirai today and got the tote bag as a freebie. Didn't realise it came with so many AR cards.
This picture is fucking with my mind. That's either the smallest tote bag I've ever seen, or the biggest 3DS case.

Sorry about the awful iphone picture quality, ill rake out my wifes camera for the next one.
Been looking for one of these forever. i know you can play GC stuff on Wii but I love my little Cube. Its god to have it under the telly again.

Some other company made another custom devastator with G2 colours. I passed on that... for now hehe. Maybe I'll wait til my wallet heals.
Each part of Hercules was $100USD +shipping, tax, customs (to Canada).

Awesome pickup dude. GCN output via component is so much better than Wii via component. It's why I still keep mine around (well that and Game Boy Player).
not bad pricing for customs. Would love to see a Superion, Bruticus or Predaking.
