It's ok I guess, but I always prefer straight 3D GTA and this doesn't change that. Definitely better than the past secondary GTA games though.
Haven't dug into this yet. I don't care that they removed voice... typically that's a good thing when it comes to videogames.

Both are still in pretty much pristine shape...no scratches, cracks, or permanent anythings. Granted, I've also never dropped it so if you're the clutzy type, maybe a case is a necessity.

Three options here.Bii said:So, who was it for? It wasn't delivered to your place by accident was it?
Got my first Mac:
Apple Macbook 13.3" White
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz processor, 2GB 667MHz DDR2 RAM, 120GB HDD, 8x SuperDrive
It's taking me some time to get used to the interface (what, no right-click?). I'm thinking of installing either XP or Vista so that I have access to some PC games that aren't compatible with Mac OSX. Ever since my laptop was stolen, I miss being able to be on my bed and browsing the net at the same time (iPhone doesn't count). Maybe I'll install World of Warcraft on here... -_-
Very nice. I have exactly the same MacBook (except I've got a 2.1ghz) as my first Mac; I've had it a year now.Bii said:Got my first Mac:

You get used to OS X pretty quickly - I've actually found it very efficient to use on my laptop as opposed to Windows, which always felt clunky to me with a track pad. I still enjoy using my PC for most of my work, and obviously for gaming, but the MacBook is about as portable as I'd need a computer to get without sacrificing functionality - I can browse and word process on it, plus use Photoshop and Dreamweaver when I need to whilst I'm on the train. Plus I'm a writer and these have the nicest keyboards I've ever had the pleasure of using on a laptop. The only thing I'd like on my laptop is Civilization IV + Expansions, however I'm too cheap to buy it again on Mac, plus I enjoy playing the Beyond the Sword content, which was never released for OS X (afaik, anyhow).
Good buy all the same.

Bii said:Thanks. Looks like I have to invest in a mouse. *laughs* It's a small inconvenience to do 1 and/or 2.
Probably the only problem I have with my Macbook so far is that I can only have my iPod Nano (4G) and iPhone (non-3G) synced with one computer (it's already synced with my Windows PC). As soon as I connect one of those devices to the Macbook, it prompts me to format it. It would've been nice to be able to customize my Nano/iPhone while on the go if I'm not at home. *sigh*
Hive said:I want to see more Valkyria Chronicles and Retro Game Challenge purchases! ^o^
drakesfortune said:I usually only post in these threads every 3 months or so, but I got banned for three months right when I was about to post. So here's 6 months of purchases, which includes all of the Black Friday insanity, Christmas gifts, and one hell of a lot of games from Goozex. Needless to say, Cheap Ass Gamer forces me to spend too much.
PS3: Haze was $7 on clearance at Target, it's going to Goozex where it'll turn into $30 worth of points.
Xbox 360: Outside of new releases my average cost per game is about $10 thanks to Goozex, New Egg, Amazon, and Gamestop's B2G1 Free.
DS: Most of these are for my son, who got the Mario DS for Christmas, but the T and M games are mine.
PSP: Once again, thank you New Egg, and Goozex. Average cost is around $6 a game.
XBox: Thanks to Goozex and Gamestop sales my cost is less than $2 a game. In other words, all of these games cost less than 2 new releases.
PS2:
And no, I have absolutely nothing to do with Goozex, it's just a great place to game the system and get older games for next to nothing.
