It's ok I guess, but I always prefer straight 3D GTA and this doesn't change that. Definitely better than the past secondary GTA games though.
Haven't dug into this yet. I don't care that they removed voice... typically that's a good thing when it comes to videogames.

how was the weed?:lol

Got some nice things the last few day. Pikmin, Suikoden, and the Mother 1+2 soundtrack. Also the Forza 2 I won a while ago from Microsoft came in. To so long I gave up on it ever coming and already have the game :lol

I've got a hundred DS games and Ketsui was the first one to break it in! There is a brand-new clicky D-pad in the DSi.

I think I'm up to 110 or so.

Which gives me an idea~ would anyone mind if I posted my DS collection here?

Start a new thread since it has been awhile since we've had one. I'm sure a lot of folks will participate like they did last year (just look at the hardware porn thread). Plus, it is always nice to see the cases from other territories.

Pearl white PSP3000 to replace my launch PSP. The screen is not as a big of an improvement as I had hoped, but it's still nice.

I must say after skimming through this thread, GAF has pretty good taste. I must also say that GAF has more money than me :lol. A lot of the stuff you guys posted I keep on a "wishlist". Can't wait 'till after college and I get going in my career. One more semester left!!!:D

I've owned two iPhones: a second gen and now a third gen. Neither one ever had a case on it. Both are still in pretty much pristine shape...no scratches, cracks, or permanent anythings. Granted, I've also never dropped it so if you're the clutzy type, maybe a case is a necessity.

I use the case in the first few weeks when the phone was new. I;ve had it for a while now so I'm a little more daring with it. I just have an invishield protecting the front. But I keep it a lint/coins/whatever free pocket so no harm comes to it

So, who was it for? It wasn't delivered to your place by accident was it? :p

Got my first Mac:

3392928913_335425f636_o.jpg

Apple Macbook 13.3" White
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz processor, 2GB 667MHz DDR2 RAM, 120GB HDD, 8x SuperDrive

It's taking me some time to get used to the interface (what, no right-click?). I'm thinking of installing either XP or Vista so that I have access to some PC games that aren't compatible with Mac OSX. Ever since my laptop was stolen, I miss being able to be on my bed and browsing the net at the same time (iPhone doesn't count). Maybe I'll install World of Warcraft on here... -_-

3393689344_65db1800b3_o.jpg

Halo Wars and Universe at War: Earth Assault

Some RTS games. I think I'll start on Universe at War before moving onto Halo Wars, and then finally onto C&C: Red Alert 3. Ever since obtaining a new video card for my PC, there's a shit ton of RTS games that I want to try. Sins of a Solar Empire, Company of Heroes, World in Conflict, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II, and Supreme Commander. There's just way too many that I want to play right now.

I have a few more goodies coming through the mail and I should be set for a while.

Three options here.
1) Hold + Click
2) Two fingers on the touchpad + Click
3) Use a mouse. lol

Very nice. I have exactly the same MacBook (except I've got a 2.1ghz) as my first Mac; I've had it a year now.

You get used to OS X pretty quickly - I've actually found it very efficient to use on my laptop as opposed to Windows, which always felt clunky to me with a track pad. I still enjoy using my PC for most of my work, and obviously for gaming, but the MacBook is about as portable as I'd need a computer to get without sacrificing functionality - I can browse and word process on it, plus use Photoshop and Dreamweaver when I need to whilst I'm on the train. Plus I'm a writer and these have the nicest keyboards I've ever had the pleasure of using on a laptop. The only thing I'd like on my laptop is Civilization IV + Expansions, however I'm too cheap to buy it again on Mac, plus I enjoy playing the Beyond the Sword content, which was never released for OS X (afaik, anyhow).

Good buy all the same. :D

After some discounts, tax, recycling fee, etc., it came out to $927. I actually thought about getting an iMac but I'm without a laptop and it would make more sense if I got something that's more portable.

Thanks. Looks like I have to invest in a mouse. *laughs* It's a small inconvenience to do 1 and/or 2.

I'm liking the keyboard as well. I wasn't quite sold on the keyboard from looking at pictures but once I was able to demo it myself, it was a whole lot better than I imagined.

Probably the only problem I have with my Macbook so far is that I can only have my iPod Nano (4G) and iPhone (non-3G) synced with one computer (it's already synced with my Windows PC). As soon as I connect one of those devices to the Macbook, it prompts me to format it. It would've been nice to be able to customize my Nano/iPhone while on the go if I'm not at home. *sigh*

For some reason, I thought the 16gig 1st gen iPhone was actually considered 2nd gen. It appears I was mistaken. Either way, the fact remains: I've owned two iPhones and neither has any protection whatsoever. Both still look pristine.

You do know that 2 fingers scrolls right? Its not any harder than that. Though I right click by control+click. If you are looking into an external mouse, try the Wireless Mighty Mouse. Its expensive and you can't really play games on it, but I love it.

That's an Apple problem, not your MacBook's. I don't know how big your iTunes library is, but with no more than your iPhone/Nano can hold, you might look into transferring it over to the MacBook where iTunes will probably run more efficiently anyway.

My new PC that I got a few weeks ago. I'm in love~

DBO was from Goozex and Kane & Lynch was $12 new on Amazon.

My friend had bought some new video cards and he already had CoD4 and didn't like WaW, so he gave them to me. I already own them on 360, but hey, can't complain with free!

Here's what I bought :D

senn.jpg

A pair of Sennheiser HD-555's. Oh my god these are so good. The high sounds are crystal clear and the bass is tight as hell, too. These are also the most comfortable cans I've ever owned. Cost me 100 euros. I recommend these to anyone who's looking to buy new headphones :D

Directions: Pull String For Uninformed Rant
I usually only post in these threads every 3 months or so, but I got banned for three months right when I was about to post. So here's 6 months of purchases, which includes all of the Black Friday insanity, Christmas gifts, and one hell of a lot of games from Goozex. Needless to say, Cheap Ass Gamer forces me to spend too much.

PS3: Haze was $7 on clearance at Target, it's going to Goozex where it'll turn into $30 worth of points.

100_9713.jpg

Xbox 360: Outside of new releases my average cost per game is about $10 thanks to Goozex, New Egg, Amazon, and Gamestop's B2G1 Free.

100_9720.jpg

DS: Most of these are for my son, who got the Mario DS for Christmas, but the T and M games are mine.

100_9730.jpg

PSP: Once again, thank you New Egg, and Goozex. Average cost is around $6 a game.

100_9723.jpg

XBox: Thanks to Goozex and Gamestop sales my cost is less than $2 a game. In other words, all of these games cost less than 2 new releases.

100_9739.jpg

PS2:

100_9726.jpg

And no, I have absolutely nothing to do with Goozex, it's just a great place to game the system and get older games for next to nothing.
