I've never heard of the subgenre Jangle Pop. Why do fans (or musicians?) feel the need to put every different melody in a box
And I like both R.E.M. and The National a lot. People who feel like The National are boring should listen to some of their old stuff. Matt used to scream a lot back in the day. Songs like Murder Me Rachel and Mr. November are quite brilliant. Can't wait to see them again next month.
Probably most people in this thread disgust of the artist I'm naming next, but I saw John Mayer yesterday. He's such a great guitar player, I really wish he would make an album filled with blues songs for once. Stuff like In Repair from imo his best album Continuum. Funny thing was by the way that he didn't even play his biggest hit Daughters. It's good to see he just does what he feels like.
