That's really shitty cosplay. Looks like some racist S&M version of Planet of the Apes or something.
I was thinking this was some reference to Django or something. Makes no sense.
Was there a lot of cosplay there or just at this contest/gathering? Wish I could've got a shot of the Kratos or Meg Turney's Elizabeth.
My two-day trip to MomoCon was more productive than I thought. Well, on Saturday, anyway. Not sure if I'd make the effort to go again next year, but I left fairly satisfied. I was kind of hoping more of the Dragon*Con crowd would show up. At least the con also gave me a chance to test out my gear for my inevitable return to D*Con one of these days.

Dude, that kid looks more like Fix-It Felix than Jack McBrayer does, and they partially modeled the character on McBrayer.
I'll be out there Saturday to check out the cosplay and spend money on shit I don't need. Looking forward to it.

I only saw a handful of cosplayers other than the contestants, but I wasn't there for too long. The Kratos was really well done, as well as the Amaterasu costume. Apparently the girl had hand-sewn thousands of beads into the costume over a period of three years.
