There's a cap??
D:
Sadly there is. It's a totally odd number too, like 3564 or something like that. Nintendo needs to raise it!

....wtf is a Raver and why there are so many versions of it ?
Here's my pictures for the weekend. Got to the venue late in the afternoon for the most part so missed all the juicy stuff early on in the day with fresh sunlight.
Had to retouch a lot of pictures due to bad lighting along with me figuring out and learning how to use manual flash.

Hey DT, how often do you see Half-Life cosplay, particularly Gordon Freeman? I've been thinking about doing that at Comic-Con or something for a long time now.

Armored? Don't recall ever seeing one. I have seen about two or three lab coat Gordons, mainly in the Seattle area at PAX Prime and Sakura-Con. There's a good Headcrab guy around this area and a friend of mine was a Metrocop for quite a while, too. Most of the Valve cosplay is Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2, and Portal nowadays.
The Little People, Big World couple?
not going to lie, this picture caught my attention
Amazing.
One of the best moments of the Portland Comic Con, was going to the after party and watching drunk Batman hit on girls.
That Xena and Batman are well done.
For some others, I have no clue which character they represent...
Hmmm, I approve this too.

That's weird, I thought mushrooms were supposed to make Mario grow big, not the other way around.
Any ideas for a father/daughter video game related costume combo for my <1 year old and I?
It would have to be pretty simple, without too much in the way of elaborate decorations.
I already have a Mario costume, so I am planning a Toad costume for the little one, but I was hoping for some other cool suggestions.
I do have a Link Master Sword and Hylian shield at home, but I don't have the right body shape for Link (I'm definitely more of a Mario build). I love the Mega Man costumes I have seen on children and would probably be able to whip something up for myself as Dr Wily.
You get bonus points if you can make a suggestion for a trio, as I might be able to convince my partner to come along too.
The might be some ideas in the loli thread.
You go as Talon and your daughter can either be Malon or dress her up as a small cow.I generally steer clear of threads like that...too many morons.
This one is generally safe and free of idiots.
I also have no interest in dressing my child up like a stripper
I love the Olimar/Pikmin idea and the Pokemon one too.
I'm not really a Kirby fan though, so that one is not getting me too excited.

(from Zelda, in case you don't remember)
Went to Wizard World Portland this weekend. Had it's moments, but overall was the most ehhhhhhh convention I've attended so far in 2013. Here's what I saw:

Jessica Nigri
Who is she suppose to be anyways?not going to lie, this picture caught my attention
Wait... that's not Nigri.
It isn't? Well, then the source provided false information.
Maybe it's a bad angle or something... it looks like her costume, everything else though... not so much.
The pic was grouped with other photos of her though. I can't post a link, as it was a fetish site.
