Is this the text list? Canada has no option for that. I need a way to see it on the tile list.

?

Just checked Canada.

?

Just checked Canada.

My list looks nothing like that, and I have never found an option to make it so. Not on the previous version of the website, and certainly not now that they just redesigned it.

This is what I see when I click on "My List":

Removal dates used to be listed below the tiles, like so:

pYUmuIY.png

Now there's nothing, despite the WiiU application listing one item as being removed. I can't rely on that application though, because I can only check the master profile there, and I have more than one.

Ahh ok. Click "Your Accout" > Under My Profile, click "Order in My List" > Manual Ordering. That will give you the text version.

I started a live chat with an employee to ask about the removal notices for Canada, and this is what I got:

gSIuA9N.png

Naturally, I calmly and very politely told them it was a fucking terrible idea, just in nicer words.

Might want to make your opinion heard, GAF.

Is this thread worthy?

Anytime they are thinking, or rumored to be, removing a feature, that makes sense having, you can almost always blame it on the content providers.

Personally, it isn't a big deal to me. Since two weeks notice is barely enough time. But really, whatever is taken down, it is either 1) going to come back at some point or 2) it is up in another region.

Sorta off topic... Started watching seinfeld on Hulu, even in highest quality it looks like shit compared to a netflix stream

Oddly nuff the video quality on commercials are 10/10 where as the show is 5/10 if that

Finished Sons of Anarchy season 4.

Don't know who it was but someone in here said the good things in this show make up for the bad things and I can agree on that now.

That ending :

I was almost in tears from laughter when it turned out both Machete and the police chief from The Shield were CIA and could just wipe out the entire RICO operation from Potter, I mean come on….

Also that final shot of the last EP, where Jax is at the head of the table and Tara stands behind him just as in the picture Katey Sagal found earlier of herself and John Teller. So bad that it’s good….

Can’t wait for the crazy shit that will probably happen in S5, with the Niners wanting revenge and that crimelord in Oaktown that wants to have revenge for his killed daughter (fucking Tig man haha). And ofcourse the CIA/Cartel and the Irish.

Also, who has been missing from The Shield? Think almost everybody but Vic has been in SOA already...

Has anyone seen this? I keep staring at it in my queue and think a series starring Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe can't be bad but haven't started it yet.

This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.

It's great; very funny and very dark. And you can watch the entire series in like 2.5 hours, so it's not exactly a huge timesink.

Some stuff I have watched over the last few days:

Brooklyn Castle: Nice documentary about a chess program in a public elementary school in Brooklyn.

Hot Girls Wanted: It was alright. Not much insight given into the porn industry. The stories of the women were good. I don't think I really learned much from it.

The House I Live In: Great documentary about the effects the War on Drugs has had on people and their communities. Gives perspectives, not only from offenders and their families, but the law enforcement side.

Perks on Being a Wallflower: Ok movie. The main actor was good, as well Emma. Otherwise, it was slow.

I feel extra dirty about watching porn after watching Hot Girls Wanted.....sure, you don't learn anything from it....but actually seeing the sleazy nature of it laid out like that.

So not worth it
Finally got around to watching Knights of Sidonia. Really liked it, great premise, good action, good character moments, good animation. Just all around seemed like a rich universe with plenty of ways to go within the story.

Definitely recommend this for anyone even remotely into anime and general dystopian sci-fi, good space opera.

I wasn't even aware there was a season 3 of Rectify already.

I still need to finish the second one though...

Season 3 doesn't start until July 10th, plenty of time to finish S2. It's one of those deals where Netflix broadcasts a show week-by-week in other countries than the US.

Outside of a few quibbles (some necessitated by real life events and some not), it's pretty darn good. A couple of the later episodes are among the best things the show has done.

Thanks. I will give it a go after I wrap up a few other shows.

How's Sense8?

Pretty great. You have to give it at least four episodes though. Towards the end, the show really comes together nicely.

Netflix is going batshit insane on Twitter, spamming people's feeds. It's fun to see how fast their followers are dropping.

Lone Survivor (Netherlands): Great movie. A bit slow for it to get going, but when it does, I was at the edge of my seat. The cast was pretty good. I thought the action was well done.

However, I have two major complaints. The ending felt rush as hell. Everything happened so quick. Blink, and you would have missed it. I guess they didn't want to waste minutes just having
Marky waiting around, but even then, an old guy traveled through mountain terrain, gave the US Army a note, and the Army sent out troops that arrives in time for a gun fight?
That really bugged me.

The second thing that I disliked, was Mark's beard. What a tragic sight.
