Few short reviews...

Nightcrawler - Great movie, great performances, morbidly funny at times. Liked it a lot. 4/5
It Follows - Babadook was shit, the GAF-hype killed it immediatelly. Not so with It Follows. Amazing Horror film. Tension-building was A+, nice "monster", likeable cast. Can only recommend it! 5/5
Narcos (Pilot) - Absolutely average pilot bordering on being quite uninspired and boring. Liked it enough to continue watching but the show as a whole has to seriously step up its game without being a poor Goodfellas-clone. 2/5
Beast of No Nation - Good movie. Ain't no City of God, but the performances inparticular were great. As often as people shit on kid actors, if there are good ones, it always blows my mind how they manage. Cinematography was excellent as well. 3/5
Good Will Hunting - Entertaining movie, with a great cast. Good stuff. 4/5
The Fall Season 2 - Loved the fucking aweful creepiness of S1 and while the premiere of S2 was quite boring, the following episodes improved and got to S1-level of quality. Sadly the last 2, 3 episodes just went along with the plot and ended rather anticlimactic. In fact, I'm thoroughly disappointed with how things played out. Will see, what S3 will bring to the table. 3/5

Watched the first episode of Jane the Virgin. Pretty damn good. I love how it doesn't shy away from Spanish culture.

Edit - Holy crap, 22 episodes. Fucking hell, less is more studios.

Well, if they can actually pull off that many good episodes in a season then I'm not gonna tell them to make less.

I guess due to the story/plot, they wanted to stretch it out instead of rushing it. But I really prefer short 13 episodes seasons. Get through them in a weekend and move onto the next thing.

22 glorious episodes. In later episodes when some characters recap season events, you realize just how insane it really is. It only gets better as it goes.

Is there a list of films/TV, studios or something that shows what is definitely not coming to netflix? No point waiting on something that is never coming. Right now I have no clue with the except of knowing their deal with Epix is expiring (though Lionsgate films still seem to be on the Canadian netflix).

Epix stuff has already been removed. At least in the US. Deals are different by region though. This is why people invest in a VPN service. Netflix becomes even better than it already is.

Oh, I have it. Anyway, trying to figure out if some movies/shows I want to see are coming to netflix or if I should find another way to get them.

Am I the only one having issues with Netflix ?

I'm watching Beasts of no nation and the image freezes every 2 minutes while the audio keeps running. First time I've had Netflix act on me like that in years.

I'm in Canada btw.

I stupidly installed Hola for a few minutes before I knew what was up with it, I'm so fucked :/ I'm so grateful the stupid UK internet porn filters prevented it from starting up, so I hope it didn't let some piece of shit use my IP for nefarious purposes. Only wanted to watch seasons 2 and 3 of Spartacus, which UK Netflix doesn't have for some stupid reason.

Just watched Beasts of No Nations. Goddamn it's something else, really intense Idris Elba was amazing and so was Abraham Attah as Agu.

One question though, why did Idris' character have a bump on the back his head? In some scenes you could see the prosthetic hair piece, I thought it was a hematoma or something at first. But Idris in real life has a normal shaped head...right?

Amazing Netflix ended up behind this. Can't wait to see what else they'll release.

Weird, if I search for "Fargo" I only get the movie. And the main site doesn't show it either. WTF?

Are you sure you are actually on German Netflix? I hd that problem recently with my VPN not changing the region on my PC for whatever reason.

Freaks & Geeks got added over here. It's the third or fourth time I watched this and now more than ever I think it's the perfect show. 18 episodes of greatness, no weak point in the run. It's definitely in my all-time top 5. Every time the final ep ends, I feel like starting the pilot again.
