I use unblock-us and just do it manually (they have a "refresh" button on their page) since it takes a few seconds at most.

A couple of movies I have seen lately:

Taken 2 (Canada): It felt like a lazy and unnecessary sequel. The biggest thing that bugs me is the action sequences. You couldn't tell wtf was going on with the horrible camera work. Just a bunch of quick cuts.

Paul (Canada): Actually better than I expected. Go in with low expectations and you should walk away with a nice little comedy.

Arthur Christmas (Canada): The animation was really well done. The story was simple and really cliche. Still, I found it to be an enjoyable Christmas movie.

I watched Odd Thomas a few nights ago. I was surprised to see it had a 4/5 star rating, as just about everything in that supernatural category is in the 1-2 range.

Pretty good movie. I also gave it a 4/5.

Finally deciding to use trial version of unblock-us and decided to watch...

The Godfather II - movie doesn't feel like its 3 plus hours. Had thanksgiving with family last night and AMC was playing the first two back to back. Due to so many conversations going on at once couldn't really focus on the movie. So when I got back home and saw that netflix USA doesn't have it, finally decided to use unblock-us... and it works great. And the movie is great too. Al Pacino and De Niro are just too stronk in their roles.

I like it overall, but it's just really uneven, and I think the whole thing gets dragged down for it. They took like three different approaches with Kilgrave instead of picking one or maybe a second to change into and it just feels like they were trying to drag it out. I agree with a lot of the sentiment in the thread that it should have been shorter and more concise.

I'll still be there for a season two, though.

Aw, sorry man, I wasn't trying to put your opinion down or anything!

For what it's worth, I did appreciate all they went to to try to portray an abuser/victim relationship accurately, and they did a very good job there. Also did a good job of Kilgrave's mentality and how abusers like that can think. There were a lot of things in the series that showed the writers understood things that tend to get glossed over or misunderstood in terms of relationship power dynamics, sexism, etc. The significance of (finale spoilers)
Jessica killing Kilgrave while telling him to "smile" wasn't lost on me.

I just don't think it quite came together as well as it deserves.

'Cause they said it inspired them to work harder on their own writing, implying they think it's well-written and a good thing to learn from, and then I just came in and said it's not. :p

I think there are things it did right and things that can be learned from it, certainly. Just not everything. :p

Basically, if Caleb trusted Nathan more than he did AVA, than all of that at the end would be avoided. =p

Watched up to the final episode of season 2 of Peaky Blinders. Fantastic show.

Also explored Netflix Japan a bit and now I'm watching Terrace House, which is a reality show where they chuck a bunch of young people in a house for the summer. Even has English subs so that's good.

Lol I had tears in my eyes when they got to the part about the monkey film.

If you love bad movies, this documentary is a must-watch. It is a goldmine of bad films. I think I'm going to watch their films these upcoming weeks.

hmm, I think UnblockUs is having trouble with some regions. The Irish region comes up with

"Good news! Netflix will be coming soon to this part of the world. Stay tuned."

Also not a fan of the changes to Moreflicks, it doesn't seem to tell you what regions things are in any more.

I'm not having trouble with Unblock. Mexico wouldn't load for me, so maybe some of the regions are having issues.

Edit - Looks like for TV shows, it doesn't list the region unless you click the episode.
