Age of Ultron is kind of like Dark Knight Rises in that it's ultimately a good-but-not-great film that's been damned by popular consensus. I'd probably rank it over TDKR but that's beside the point.

Rab C. Nesbitt Season 6-8 (TV, Comedy)

Wow, *that* is unexpected. First Still Game & now Rab C? Two fantastic modern Scottish comedy series that are classics in their own time, but utterly impenetrable to most outside of central Scotland ;)

I know what I'm watching tonight!

I watched Walk of Shame with Elizabeth Banks, I genuinely liked this film. Lord help me and not just because she was in a insanely-tight yellow dress throughout the film

Today, a show that makes My Little Pony look positively heterosexual:

Also up is Making a Murderer, a Mike Epps special, and Bill Burr's F is for Family. (Given that they're all Netflix Originals I assume it's not just the UK)

Eh, Precure (the franchise Glitter Force is adapted from) is basically just modern Sailor Moon. Or the Super Sentai/Power Rangers formula except animated and with a different intended audience.

Also from what I've heard, the dubbing for this is amazing. Like, in a "holy shit am I watching an anime dub from the early 90's?" sort of way.

Aiii

So not worth it
I was annoyed at Netflix releasing two originals just a week apart, but okay, I can get creative with binging and manage that.

But now they're releasing stuff at the same time, ain't nobody got time for that. Dammit Netflix!

The japanese original is a cute if unremarkable show, this adaptation got the full shitty american 90s dub treatment, changed names (both the show and the characters), several episodes cut (48 vs. 40), it completely ditched the original soundtrack and replaced it with shitty new music and they even went edit crazy, I just watched the first episode but instead of starting with the actual first scene they edited in a scene from a completely different episode that shows the main character in bed and then they edited the scene further by adding a premonition via dream that shows all five girls transforming (probably in case someone missed all five appearing in the opening credits fifteen seconds earlier).
All changes are completely unnecessary, Saban Brands sucks!

Masters on none is pretty entertaining, Really enjoying it. If you like Aziz check it out.

I enjoy the characters friends in the show, and the music is good.

Are we back in the 90's? Fuck Saban and Netflix.

So just watched the latest Trailer Park Boys Live in Austin episode, when did that show up?

Loved it and they are getting more popular all the time judging by the end.

The 10th season must be coming soon right?

Finally got around to finishing World War II in Color. Really well done documentary series. My only complaint is that they didn't talk much about the Pacific war, and I would have liked to have seen the aftermath of when the war ended (how countries were divided, etc).

Any other WWII documentary series worth checking out?

I added Ken Burns' The War, and two BBC specials (Hiroshima and Auschwitz).

Unfortunately two of the most acclaimed WWII documentaries are not on netflix.

The World at War - A 1970s 26 part series it does cover the Pacific war in the later episodes.

Here is a youtube playlist of the full series

Shoah - A 9 hour documentary interviewing people involved in the Holocaust both prisoners, witnesses and guards.

This is much harder to find online with english subtitles I could only find the fiirst half.

Thank you! I will be checking them out.

I have searched several regions and didn't see much in the way of WWII docs. Which was surprising.

anybody know when the next season of Daredevil comes out??

Probably around the time the first season premiered.

Not strictly a doc and also not on Netflix but I'm guessing you've seen Band of Brothers and the Pacific

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything
Suddenly Netflix doesn't work on my PS4. It can't connect to any servers, yet I have changed nothing. I was just using it the other day. Wtf.
