I'm guessing a lot of the flight sim guys will have seen this sort of stuff before, but i've never really seen a good demonstration of it's use until now.

Apart from the tracking system looking cool ArmA 2 itself is looking very slick!

That's actually pretty amazing. The PC hardware market has always been pretty crazy like this if not a little niche. Friend of mine has always wanted one of those crazy car setups.

Track IR is a beautiful, beautiful thing for flight sims. I might have to pick up Arma 2 since I already have track IR anyway.

oh just noticed that ArmA 2 is out in a week or so....just wish there was a demo though, would like to see how well it runs on my machine :(

this should also work with natal right? Head tracking should be no problem for it....

It will work with any motion control stuff out there if you're willing to ducktape peripherals to your forehead.

Dslyecxi is a cool guy, I used to play Operation Flashpoint with him in the ShackTac group. They are kinda hardcore though, so if you miss to many sessions you get kicked out of the group :(

That's cool as hell, and looks like it works way better than I imagined head tracking would in an FPS. It's a shame that ArmA is pretty much the polar opposite of the kind of shooter I like to play, but I'd be pretty damn tempted to try that out if it were put into a game that I liked.

It irks me how unrefined the game actually is. I'm also quite spoiled by Bad Company's sound stage. The scale is awesome though.

Yeah that is the biggest issue, the game just feels sort of clunky. It doesn't feel smooth and solid like Bad Company or COD4. You can argue that is because it is a sim, not a "game" so it isn't supposed to be "fun" but then I am not really interested.

I still may pick this up, I enjoyed ArmA but hoped this one would be more polished.
