Unfortunately Nintendo has just removed all mentions of VRR dock functionality from their websites, which suggests that this game will run at 30 on your TV.
Without VRR 40fps has to be absolutely pitch perfect in frame time and framerate and I don't see that happening. Especially not with CP.
It could still be added with an update to the dock later.
Maybe there are some issues right now and they prefered to not allow VRR in TV mode at release.
It could also come back before release.
lol....sorry, old joke going back to the PS5 slim thermals. Nothing really about your post, but whenever thermals are brought up, this often gets a mention.

You're right, didn't catch their babbling afterwards. Why they still insist on last gen consoles and PS4 ish when there's literally a demo from a Series S build running on this with lots of improvements by launch and regardless of settings, its not a last gen build, of course, as Phantom liberty never made it there. Not sure what DF is trying to spin here. I'll edit my post.
When I said I preferred playing on actual og hardware I got laughed here and told that I don't know current state of emulation or whatever. Someone is lying here lol
I mean if you have a good desktop PC, you can play most of the Switch library with better settings than OG hardware. Emulation will always come with a performance hit though, so the Deck will have Switch games that it struggles to run, or needs tweaks to run (usually the bigger open-world games). The Deck also struggles to run most PS3 games due to that console's architecture, but the ROG Ally on the other hand can run those games because the processor is better.
83-84% of the Switch library I believe is estimated fully playable with no issue on Ryujinx, and is higher with changed settings or downloaded mods. Even after Nintendo legally kneecaped the emulators, they still got forked and are being improved on now (at a slower pace).
