...Why? They do sub simulcasts for a fuck load of shows... Nothing about Dragon Ball would make it harder to do subs for each week's episode than any other series that Funi does it for.
Because a lot of US fans prefer the dub and I don't see them choosing to simuldubbing it.
Funimation's stuff is always super late either way and I think a lot of people will just avoid the Japanese dub.It would be interesting if Crunchyroll got it somehow though. Then Funimation should be prepared to lose a lot of potential streaming revenue to pirate sites.
Its gonna be rough but the Japanese voices are shit so funimation better get to work.Good luck avoiding spoilers if your into that sort of thing if you're going with the dub lol
Can Cell reach SSGSS level? Like if the current Saiyans give his energy to him and stuff??
Wasn't the requirement that they be pure-hearted Saiyans?
That's why the ritual only happened once before -- 99% Saiyans are assholes.
The real question we should be asking is can cell go SSJ

I really hope I can watch this at a decent speed legally, it would suck having to wait in this day and age.
If Funimation can do it, they will do it that's for sure. Any kind of Dragon Ball is big bucks, Japanese or no.
That's what I said. Toei may not let them do it though.Funimation does tons of sub simulcasts these days, there isn't really any reason to think that they won't do it for this.

Yup. I'm one of those. I was too young to watch the original Japanese run of DBZ. I initially saw a few random episodes in Spanish while growing up (which got me hooked) and then I eventually saw the whole series in English(twice lol). Now I'm probably gonna watch Super subbed in English if they don't dub it right away and then I'll watch the dubbed version once that comes out I've become too big of a fan to not do so and I would hate to get stuff spoiled. There is a sizable fan base for the Japanese version and not doing a sub simulcast would be leaving money on the table for their biggest money maker. They did a simulcast for Toriko, they do it for new anime all the time and they have been doing it for One Piece for a long time, why would they not do it for their biggest series? Funimation isn't stupid.
Hell, I bet a quite a few people who aren't even fans of the Japanese version would watch the subs just to stay up to date because it'd be easy to just watch it on Hulu.
He never had to. It's kind of useless for a person like him. He already knows what's happening in most of the cases.I like how Goku has the ability to read minds and they never bring it up again after using it that one time on namek

Broly is terrible. Was Goku the first and only SSG? If not than lets see LSSG Broly. Make him canon
Broly is terrible.
Broly is maximum.

Broly is maximum.
It's because the people who grew up with it are now in positions of power and can make such things happen.
Our generation is good for something after all
Nope. He's GOATBroly is terrible.
If I'm not mistaken, aren't they now trying out the strategy of dubbing episodes as they come out in Japan and having them up shortly afterwards?Funimation does tons of sub simulcasts these days, there isn't really any reason to think that they won't do it for this.
Who are you?

I definitely see them doing that for DBS if they are able to.
Who are you?
Who is Mr. Popo is the true question
Who is Mr. Popo is the true question
Well he has the golden aura.
In the anime, in the manga IIRC everyone has a white aura except when Goku is using Kaioken
We'll find out the Popo was actually Whis' master.
Any teasers/images for this yet?
He is actually the previous God of Destruction before Beerus
Don't know where you heard that, because that wasn't said in anything.
Nope.

In a world where anime gets adapted to manga, and manga is released after the anime, what am I supposed to believe?Unsurprisingly, there'll be a manga of DB Super as well
