I'm a big fan of male bonding so of course I would going to love this episode. I think my favorite part of all was every time Cece was about to puke, the emotional underscoring in the background would stop on cue. ;)

Completely embarrassing.

It wasn't subtle product placement but the scene was so funny that I forgave it.

My wife and I watched, as always. The boob fight happens.

Me: "That's going to be all over the internet tomorrow."
Her: "You guys are probably aroused by that."
Me (looked down at my crotch): "Why yes."

5 minutes later Nick says "Is it weird that I'm aroused by that?" when Jess tells him of the boob fight.

We were howling.

Great ep. The Ford thing was goofy. I almost felt like if they had kept it going that they could have had a Lucille Ball-like moment with just completely over-the-top slapstick.

Don't worry, I'll vouch for them.
Completely embarrassing.
It was actually a great way to get product placement on the show. Are you saying you would rather have the people on White Collar talking about all the great features on the car for a full minute on screen while in a chase rather than something kinda plausible?

Exactly. The way it was wedged into New Girl actually made sense with Cece's job and was funny. Was it obvious? Of course, but they made it work in the context of the show a helluva lot better than most other shows.

They need to be in different outfits so there's more jiggle.

Also, Nadia's accent is too much.

Did she let you slap her boobs a bit after?

Well this was the first time I have seen her character, but I wasn't a fan of it. Not the accent itself but her deadpan, monotone voice. Eh...

It helps if you've seen her previous episodes, especially 1x22, "Tomatoes." I didn't find her especially funny in this week's ep (aside from a few lines) but she's very funny in the episode I just mentioned.

So glad to see Nadia back. Shes awesome. "Make me a salad, bitch!"
Nick and Schmidt are great too. I loved the scenes with the younger versions in college and Schmidt kept doing stupid things.

And yeah, boob fight is arousing.

Man, I just finished the episode, I was laughing out loud at multiple points throughout. Amazing how many quality laughs they can pack into a 21 minute show.

I love this show, so good.

"Is it possible to sprain someone's boob?" lol

Two best things after the fight:
"I feel like I fell forward on a treadmill."
And Jess tripping while standing again: "It's happening..."

The boob fight and the shoe getting caught on the turning platform had my wife laughing hysterically. The boob fight turned me on more than anything.

Been marathoning Season 1. A few awkward and annoying scenes but overall still a pretty good show. I don't know why I stopped watching.

have still been enjoying the show a lot, nothing much to say just want to defend its product placement by giving a contrast:

I understand being annoyed when a show like Fringe lingers on the GPS system of a Brand New Ford Blahblahblah for too long. in that context it's completely unnatural. why give focus to this navigation system? how is it so relevant to the narrative? it's not, so it feels out of place and bad. (luckily this happens so much less on the show now)
In this week's New Girl they never took time to really zero in on sole product placement. there was a product in the episode, but they were never just talking about the car. they were talking about the car while jess was proving how hard modeling is. I thought it was completely justifiable.

Nick in the Haunted House was wonderful

but the real star of the night is Shelby... why wouldn't you want an amazing girlfriend like that?! Brilliant costume.

I loved Jess hanging out with the haunted house people. Talking about her feelings and then the three of them immediately going into character and freaking out random passersby. ;)

No talk tonight? I thought it was a good episode. Why is Schmidt so funny? Him repeating how fast he was compared to Robbie had me cracking up

I mostly liked it, if only for the Nick story. The Schmidt story also has some long-term promise, with Carlo Gugino always a good sport. The Jess stuff didn't do much for me and I wish they'd give Winston something to do. We know the actor is funny and we know they've gotten a lot of mileage out of having him react to other story lines but he needs his own!

The whole Nick/Asian guy storyline was so weird but kinda funny. The pool scene was the weirdest. Lol.

Jess' storyline was really funny. Especially with the interview she had and the picture of the dog.
RIP Dog :(
Winston was okay. At least he had a bigger presence in this episode. And Schmidt...BAD! Bad for kissing Cece! That's called cheating! He IS a monster!

Solid episode. Not as funny as the Halloween one, but still damn funny.

Looking forward to next week though. Jess's parents visit, as does Schmidt's cousin.

Jess's parents are to be played by
Rob Reiner and Jamie Lee Curtis

Schmidt's cousin (AKA Big Schmidt) to be played by
Rob Riggle.

I expect much awesomeness.

I'm seriously thinking Jess is the least interesting character on the show.

I like how this is the second time this season where Nick has an entirely seperate story with an older guy(even though one of them he thought was himself from the future, but still) and kind of looking for answers from them. It'd be funny if they're steering this toward some father issues or something.

I'm a depraved freak, and I want to wonder into your Narnia of sexual terror, and emerge like a freshly birthed calf.

Schmidt needs to win some type of award or at least be paid more than the rest of the cast because he's carrying the show from week to week.

It's pretty much the Schmidt and Nick show at this point. Which works for me.
