Those of you still worried about micro-transactions affecting in-game credit build up.

not a chance

cfw users will hex edit gt6's eboot for maximum credits, save and upload so others can resign the game save with bruteforce so it works on their ps3, no grind fest or credits for money scam, just 999,999,999,999,999,999 cr. for those that want it.

I take it we can count on you to take direct-feed shots of the new tracks with PS3 CFW? :p

Well...well...well

- I'm using a steering wheel (DFGT) and the handling felt a LOT better than it did GT5. It feels so fun to drive about any car.
- The license tests/special events/other stuff (like running 3.5 km on 1 liter of fuel) felt way too easy :/ and SRF is forced on license tests.
- You can collect money way too easily in this game.
- No Deltawing. :grumpy:
- The 86 is definitely great to drive! note: you get it with sports hard tires from the dealership just like in GT5 and it barely drifts with these. If you want it to show its true drifty nature you will have to downgrade to comfort hard.
- Standards still standards.
- It's sorta annoying to browse the dealerships that have 38301383101 versions of the same car (Nissan, Honda, Mazda, etc.) because they are all after each other since the dealerships are sorted by PP.
- All the base race cars are white when you buy them.
- There are lots of wheels to choose from this time compared to GT5. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for aero parts.

So far so GT5. Will probably buy it anyway but everything has been really disappointing so far. :-(

'car tuning same as GT5'.

Can someone explain to me what the problem is with the Delta Wing???

I read some articles and im very confused, is this a fight over an RC car???

http://www.autoblog.com/2013/09/17/panoz-suing-nissan-over-zeod-rc-deltawing-likeness/

If the RC car copied the Delta Wing, why is the Delta Wing being removed from GT6???

So confused.

Panoz and nissan are currently arguing who has the rights to the deltawing design and what constitutes a copy, until that mess is sorted noone can really do anything with any likeness of it. The Zeod is a full size racer not a 'RC' car if there is any confusion there.

Because technically Panoz owns the designs for the DeltaWing, not Nissan. Case in point - the DeltaWing still exists, but is powered by a Mazda engine now.

Nissan gave Polyphony the rights to use the DeltaWing in the game, but technically those rights weren't theirs to give.

I'm sure we'll see the DeltaWing make a return to the game once the legal dispute is settled, or perhaps Polyphony will ask Panoz for permission as well (past GT games have had Panoz cars in them.... it's not outside the realm of possibility). Hooray for the age of patchable games!

Damn, what a mess, I saw that both cars have the NISSAN logo and got me confused, Nissan suing Nissan, wat?

hahah, thanks

Standards being standards? I thought they were improved.

The 'worst' of them were improved, there was about a dozen with either bugged or underdeveloped models, they were found and posted pretty quickly after GT5's launch. The improved rendering and engine should make them look a tiny bit better in races but they are fundamentally the same cars and side by side won't be much different.

I saw images showing that the textures were improved and the jaggy windows were gone. Is that true? I know the interiors won't look like much.

It's an assist for novices. It's probably removed as you advance in the license tests. Kaz said that this career would be more scaled to the appropriate player level.

Wat, people assume skid recovery force is forced on? LOL

Couldn't care less if it's forced in license tests but there is no way it's forced when playing normally.

Come on

Ugh...I can't believe they're forcing this SRF cheat in license tests as well.
Well that's pretty stupid and I can't fathom why they did it, but I'm hoping PD will remove it at some point.

As I thought, all signs are pointing towards that PD learned from GT5 in terms of balancing the grind so that it'll be tuned better in GT6 despite the addition of the micro-transactions. Micro-transactions will no doubt rise in the future despite what we do, but there need to be positive reinforcement that they absolutely can not detract from the experience like in some F2P games or be priced outrageously. That said, I do think that the current prices of the upcoming GT6 credit packs are too high to be really reasonable or attract that much buyers, premium priced games have no reason to have premium priced micro-transactions and their value in GT6 isn't good compared to how fast you apparently get credits in-game.

It's only been mentioned that it's forced in license tests. And it seems like most people are very early on in the game, so that may even change once it opens up more.

I hope this is just for the first few tests.
I really don't understand the purpose of SRF in a sim, it doesn't exist in real life and it shouldn't exist in a GT game. Turning it on changes the handling so drastically to a point that you can't even call it a sim. Forced SRF is what ruined the Seasonals for me and it's going to ruin the licenses now.

It's definitely out in the wild now. More people are starting to post about having copies

We'll probably start seeing media (intro!) and impressions over the weekend.

Saw it in the shop today, can't get it though since my PS3 doesn't read dual layer discs. Gotta wait for the PSN unlock.

Unless GT6 is on a single layer disc (Being a 15 gig download and all), then I'll go grab it tomorrow.

It's forced on in a lot of seasonals in gt5. I wouldn't put it past PD to force it on. They seem to love it.

I just found out that GT5 is a single layer disc, and I've been shelving the game thinking it would break my PS3. I feel like an idiot.

Anyways, I'll go look for GT6 tomorrow. Although I doubt I'll add much since it seems everyone on GTPlanet will cover most of the questions.

Holy fuck the Moon is a track? lolol I thought it was just going to be a photomode location. HAHAH fucking PD this is great.

No way it's forced permanently in all modes or circumstances.

I agree but it depends on the extent to which it's force on to me. I can't stand it. I want global TCS/ASM/SRF settings that you can set once and be done with it. It was done that way on GT2 or 3, don't recall right now but it has been done in the past and should have stayed that way. Sorry, I just have a very strong opinion against SRF. I never want it on.
