New Hunter x Hunter Anime |OT| of Hunters and adventure and NO MANGA SPOILERS

This is completely unrelated to the anime, but I think it would be cool if we eventually got to see an adult Gon, Killua, and Kurapika many years later. Togashi should seriously consider doing a time skip once he's done all he could do with the young characters.

I think Killua and Gon are too powerful for their age, IMO they should be 19-20. Killua and Gon are already extremely powerful and by doing a timeskip they would be stronger than prime Netero by the age of what, 16/17?

It makes no sense.

I would love to see them as adults. I would love to see all the stories Togashi has planned for this show...................................................

I very much doubt they'd be that strong, they can't even touch old Netero now, to then have them as strong as him in his prime? Insane and unneeded.

Just look at how much stronger they've become since the hunter exam. I feel that the boys can take knuckle and shoot now. 3-4 more years at the same pace would put them at Neteros level

But Gon tried that and lost. Netero is on a WHOLE different level from the rest of the Hunters, he could probably still quite easily beat both of them, even after a few years. Of course he's a old man now so they might have a small chance, but in his prime? No way in hell.

No thanks, a time-skip signifies a sudden quality drop guaranteed.

When Toriyama did it with Dragon Ball Z, it ruined the whimsical atmosphere of Dragon Ball, (I still enjoyed DBZ) but Togashi is not Toriyama. They have different styles of storytelling and direction. I don't think HxH would suffer the same fate.

Don't Togashi's narratives usually have a theme about growing up or transitioning into adulthood? I haven't watched YuYu Hakusho but I was under the impression that that was a big theme of Yusuke's narrative. And if done well it's fun to watch, so aside from plenty of other good reasons to be opposed to the time skip thing I think that might be another one.

Issac Netero is an enhancer but wouldn't 100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva be a Conjurer technique? Unless it's considered an extension of his body.

Also all of Netero's attacks have been after a prayer and they've been so fast that it almost seems as though he stops time. Imagine if he skips the prayer part of his attacks/punches

One of the wikis has it as Emitter, which makes sense given he's an Enhancer.

Maybe I forgot but isn't 100% for their natural Nen type? In this case Netero is 100% capable Enhancer but can master either Emitter or Transmuter at 60% and Manipulator or Conjurer at 40%, right?

Emitter/Transmuter are 80%. from his starting position.

There are numerical approximations given by the manga to indicate just exactly how efficient one would be at using aura abilities that one is not born into. Starting at one's own aura type, one has the potential to be 100% efficient at using abilities based in that category alone. Then looking at the category chart (see right), one has the potential to be 80% efficient at using aura types adjacent to your primary type, 40% efficient at the opposite or farthest category, and 60% efficient in the two remaining categories. Specialization is typically unusable for non-Specialists because it is impossible to partially use; one either can or can't use Specialist abilities. However, Conjurers and Manipulators have 1% efficiency potential for Specialization due to being adjacent to it

Yeah I see now thanks. I was scared to check the wiki due to spoilers but if his Bodhisattva really is an emitter technique that is damn impressive.

He earned it. I assume it's so powerful despite not even being his prime nen-type, because of what he did to get that power. Nen is truly fascinating.

That's the outline although I should say the point is that it's not cleanly 100% and 80% and stuff. Say, Gon is a bit more to the emission side of it, so he might be a bit worse at transmutation than a different enhancer who's a bit closer to the transmutation side instead. I guess it doesn't matter too much though.

Netero in the face of all those people who said emission is the worst type!

But seriously stop going to the dang Wiki.

People on here said that? I thought emitters were pretty okay. Always thought nen bullets were badass too. I'd kill for a Brovada figure.

According to Hisoka's personality theory for nen types I always thought emitters sounded the best:

"Emitters are impatient and not detail-oriented. Many of them are quick-tempered and hot-blooded. They resemble the Enhancers in building their impulsivity, but the difference with them, they probably tend to calm down and forget easier. "

This is Togashi though. I'm sure he could make it interesting.

Togashi is a Shounen master no doubt about that but I still have my doubts, especially with all the hiatus' he took, the finale of Chimera Ant suffered a little because of it.

I actually forgot about a lot of the events this episode. Mostly from Ikalgo and the preview next episode I forgot Palm fights Killua. It's been years since I read it, damn.

I do remember how this arc closes though. God damn Togashi, please continue with the next arc, it was such a good set up.

Togashi is a massive troll ending the last chapter the way he did, the one before was a nice point where fans could "move on" from the series in case he really never continues on.

but nooooo he had to put in that fucking last chapter, damnit Togashi take responsibility for your sins and start drawing again.

Apparently the best animation director from Madhouse, Takahiko Abiru (Episode 85) tweeted that he would be directing the final episode of the CA arc. That would be episode 135.

I can't read japanese but that is his account.

This episode man ;_;
I am SUPER happy that Palm didn't do a complete heel turn. Her Bayonetta mode was pretty kickass. Seeing Killua break down after feeling so useless was sad to see. Very curious about what everyone else in the palace is going to do now since Pouf and Youpi bailed

Huh? What did I say? Did I screw up again? :(
One of these three royal guards needs to die more than the others... its time to play our game...
