Actually that's a good idea if they color the rails (if you can call them that any more) so you can tell the difference between left and right without squinting even if they're the same color. I wouldn't be surprised if they colored the inside of the Switch on each side as well.

Yeah this is why i barely used the switch as a handheld. Its just so uncomfortable and looks like nothing will change

I imagine that Nintendo risked bankruptcy with the Wii U, so for the Switch 2 they made the safest choice with a simple upgrade

No way, they had huge cash reserves and the DS and 3DS were still doing fine. They cut their losses quite early too.

That's why 3rd party replacements exist. Plenty of fairly comfortable controllers from 3rd parties to replace joycons.

At least the new ones are a bit bigger.
