PG better fix that. Nier had mediocre gameplay at best, and if it hadn't been for its ridiculous, nightmare-inducing plot, Drakengard might be one of the worst games I've ever played.

Seriously? Compared to everyone else i've seen in the game it's horribly apparent someone fucked up. It's distracting. Cause no one else looks like that. And they look fine in art work.

I have to agree that the character models of Adam And Eve look rather alien, primarily due to the size of their heads and the fact that their shoulders are building perfect triangles.
I hope that despite their name, they're both androids as well, so i can just chalk it up to that.

Darn, this trailer is making it more difficult to wait until I've finished Nier to get this. I want to finish Nier first so I can start without missing anything, but I don't have any time at all to play anything until the last week of March because of my busy college schedule. Plus despite my best efforts, the lesser gameplay of Nier is making it difficult to even be motivated to work through it, despite wanting to for the story. Would watching a long story summary with all of the important events be alright or is it essential that I play it? The fact that I know vague things about the crazy twists doesn't help my resolve to play it.
I actually kind of get the feeling that 2B might end up in A2's body somehow. The haircut is way too much like 2B's... either A2 had it cut in tribute, or A2 died to save 2B's OS chip, or something.
I really just wanna continue playing as the same protagonist throughout lol.

I think the odd proportions could be intentional - the small heads and long necks both create an eerie feeling and make it seem like they are giants. It makes their rather muscular bodies stand out a lot more than in my altered version, where they just seem like two sexy guys rather than potentially dangerous people. All of the "normal" characters seem to have normal proportions, so it's possible they didn't just go with Bayonetta-style proportions for no reason at all.Before:

Bayonetta had stylized and exaggerated proportions yes, but it worked, it didn't look like they just slapped a small head to a giants body like these two guys here. Like said, it might be intentional too.
I think it's more that we got used to Byonetta's proportions. I haven't seen any other work by Yuya Nagai so i'm not sure if its just their style.

I think all the proportion talk has gotten out of hand, even the few characters that have the slightest issue may simply be due to style.

What the hell does "androids were designed to protect their human" mean and we see 9s stabbing some core or something shit is interesting.
Its clear the weird YoRHa military commander voice is weird on purpose now so those complaints about the VA are pointless now.

Bayonetta looked awful and she looks even worse in the alternate outfits. At least these guys aren't supposed to be human so them looking off isn't a big deal.

God their box art is so much better than ours. I know it's reversible, but does anyone know if it's one of the ones that doesn't have the PS4 stripe on its front and spine? DOOM and Bioshock Infinite look really out of place on my shelf because they don't have it; they almost look bootlegged because of it.
