DS list sucks. Like... really... the DS is having a GameCube-like first year... minus SSBM.

Imagine how I feel, having already beaten Warioware! :-/

Yoshi Touch & Go is the only thing to look forward to until May!

Jan. 11: Resident Evil® 4 from Capcom
Jan. 11: Virtua Quest? from SEGA

I love how Sega is absolutely and 100% determined to make sure this game is an utter failure.

Spring for Zelda? Hm, it's a possibility. Maybe Nintendo could bundle the new Zelda with GCN for this year's Christmas too.

didnt say capcom, killer 7 is a japan/europe only release?

btw.

killer 7 ps2/gc in europe out on 06/24/2005

Please Nintendo take your time with the new Zelda. Capcom took there time with RE4 and made one the the best survival horror games ever.

Wow, another quarter, another weak GameCube lineup. If this is what "The Nintendo Difference" is, then they may as well pack it in and save up for Revolution.

To be fair, I am not sure that Sonys and MS quarter is much better than Nintendos.

edit: After RE4, I look forward to Starfox.

Actually I think Jan-March 2005 is one of the GameCube's strongest quarters.

Resident Evil 4
Star Fox Assault
Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat

Plus there's NBA Street Volume 3 with Team Mario and Mortal Kombat: Deception with exclusive characters coming out in the same quarter as well, so those might be worth checking out if you're a GameCube owner.

That's not too bad.

The PS2, XBox, and DS really don't have great Jan-March lineups either. Mario Kart DS, Yoshi' Touch N' Go, and Advance Wars DS will be mine though, but Nintendo really needs to get these games out faster especailly if PSP is launching in March.

May: Ultimate Card Games? from Telegames
Q2: World Championship Poker? from Crave Entertainment

Which one is supposed to be better? I know that ultimate cards is awesome on GBA but what about WCP?

It's Japan/Europe only for PS2. For whatever reason it's a GC exclusive in America. :/

You think this is weak, just wait until Xbox's 2nd half 2005 lineup. ;)

Meh, my personal feeling is Nintendo's Q1 GameCube lineup is better than their holiday lineup.

Resident Evil 4 + Star Fox Assualt + DK: Jungle Beat + NBA Street w/Mario

is slightly better than

Metroid Prime 2 + Mario Tennis 2 + Paper Mario 2 + Donkey Konga

Paper Mario 2 was terrific though.

ABOUT. FUCKING. TIME.

...Surprised they're not calling it "Fire Emblem II" or other lame ass shit.

Maybe Fuuin no Tsuguri will get a DX + release at some point?

That would be awesome.
Fire Emblem is all I need.

By the by: I followed up with Nintendo and the official word is that *everything* on this list is scheduled for the first half of 2005 -- except Zelda. So that's Mario Kart, Advance Wars, and Animal Crossing all hitting in the next six months. (And final confirmation that Zelda is not.)

Well crap with whipped cream is better than crap, so...

....and if Mario is the reason you're buying NBA Street :lol

Sweet. I'll finally get to try out an Advance Wars game and get Fire Emblem! Man, Intelligent Systems is really busy lately.

Then we can finally put the "rumors" to rest that Zelda is a Q2 game.

Resident Evil 4 is the biggest Q1 game I can remember (on any platform, sorry Ninja Gaiden) ... well like ever this generation. That alone makes the Q1 GCN lineup huge. The rest (SF Assualt, DK: JB, NBA Street) is just dessert for the main course. If you're a GCN owner and anal retentive about buying any GCN software that isn't exclusive, then yeah sure, having Mario characters in a game like NBA Street Vol. 3 is a nice little incentive to get it on the GCN. It worked with Link in Soul Calibur didn't it?

Nintendo better ramp up the DS software though. If PSP launches in March with Ridge Racers, Dynasty Warriors, MG Acid, along with US specific stuff like NFSU and Twisted Metal PSP, their library will already be better than what the DS has despite the DS having a four month headstart in North America.

That too. While unfortunate that we don't see it sooner, hopefully it means some extra time polishing the game will be spent.

Hear anything about any of the two Mario platformers?

WTF!
Where's my DS games, Nintendo?!?
*throws a tantrum*

It's nice to see they're thowing everything they have at the PSP launch, stupid Nintendo.

Atleast we'll get our Zelda fix at E3. Nintendo is going to provide us a new trailer and a playable demo which will make it easier to wait an additional 3-6 months after that.

Awesome news about Animal Crossing DS, I was under the impression we wouldn't see it until fall.

Well they may have a surprise or two up their sleeve.

Animal Crossing is my DS Killer App. Glad to see it might be coming soon :D

They seem to have taken care of that in development. Kinda bummed about what this title has become. RE4 takes the edge off.

DS list is crap.

I get a feeling Animal Crossing DS will be delayed into fall 2005. Didn't the first one take like a year to translate? Now I imagine they've translated the basic language set, but its still gonna take a while.

Mario Kart DS, Advance Wars DS, Castlevania, Goemon, Viewtiful Joe DS, Final Fantasy III, Nintendogs, Metroid Prime: Hunters ... these games they need to be out ASAP, otherwise I get the feeling Sony will quickly have a better library of games than the DS does.

Right now in the US its Super Mario 64 DS and Feel The Magic, and not a whole lot else.
