i had an idea that i scrapped but maybe it would work. what do you guys think about starting the draft right now here on the forums? it would likely be done by monday so long as everyone checked in regularly to pick!

Alright, here is what's going to happen:
We will draft Round 1 on the forums, if all goes well we will do the rest like this. If there are problems, then rounds 2-11 will stay on AIM for sunday
REMEMBER!
* 2 golds, 3 silvers, 6 bronze
* PLEASE PICK ALL AVAILABLE LEGENDS IN THE GAME BEFORE USING ANYONE FROM A CREATED PLAYER LIST!
* we will discuss the created players list when we get closer to using up all legends
* PLEASE pick in a timely fashion! everyone is depending on YOU to pick so the round can progress.
* If you see anyone around who is in the league, please notify them that round 1 is happening now.
* I will TRY to keep an updated list of who has been drafted. i can't seem to find a comprehensive list online that shows all the players and tiers. so for now, pleasae reference the game itself or ask here when you are picking to make sure it is a gold/silver/bronze player. although, for the first round i dont think it matters cause everyone is picking gold and knows who they want.

also, you can pick any tier player in any round. so if you want randall cunningham in round 1, go nuts.

i talked with vump about it and we don't want to dillute the talent pool too much, but sickboy has always been a reliable player and enron deserves the chance to become a regular league player if he wants, so i extended the league to 32 players. direct all hate comments towards me fellas!

dm is getting one tomorrow, rors said he will have his back on monday (when the league starts), malley said to put his name in and if he doesn't have one by then to replace him. there will likely be an open spot since i have no clue where duce22 is and he didnt respond to my XBL reply

because the 32nd pick is actually a really good pick because you'd have back to back. considering you guys were a little late on reporting into this thread i can't really punish #29 and 30 who should have had the first 2 picks in the 2nd round. i try to be as fair as possible and i wish you guys had said something earlier, but im trying to make the best of it.
Don't really care about draft order, but wondering who the additional golds are (I see a post earlier pointing to Bo Jackson, LT and Deion Sanders, but that was back at the 30-team league).
As for the first part of that sentence, I suppose I am concerned about draft order if it means I get stuck with an unwieldy pair -- like two QBs or two HBs or something...
I'd also like to think that we'll get the benefit of having the order improved in our advantage in the case of dropouts (which I still somewhat expect)

ah screw it. sick and enron, we're just going to do the draft like we were. 1-32, 32-1, 1-32, 32-1, etc. so you do get picks 32 and 33.
