Revision needs to include full TRIM support. SSD's need to be able to blaze.
I wouldn't mind a PS one sized (and styled) PS3.
Yep and extra 2gb DDR3 too for reserved OS low power thing.
This is interesting, I'm always very curious to see how the new models will look even if I can't upgrade for budget reasons.
However I would be very tempted to get a PS3 with a more affordable price to be just my PS+ machine since I have a decent backlog in my digital library.

If you're correcting someone please do it correctly"OS low power thing...?" Please have actual knowledge on the subject please..
Its 2GiB, which is 256MB, not 2GB
Can we get a PS4 model that is backwards compatible with the PS3 please?
PS3 mini?
Not sure about the PS4, i only got mine a few months ago :/
So apparently Pocketnews has a new CUH-1100 model PS4 and has compared it to the previous model.
According to Dutch site Tweakers (http://tweakers.net/nieuws/99236/revisie-ps4-heeft-gewijzigde-heatsink.html), the following was changed among other things. I don't understand many technicalities
- Changed heat sink and changed power supply towards the CPU and GPU
- Lower weight (2700g vs 2750g)
- Mainboard was type SAA-001, now SAB-001
- The 8-bit-mcu by STMicroelectronics was removed, perhaps now obsolete by the Marvell CXD90025G-asic sub processor (speculated by Tweakers, don't know)
- Memory changed from ddr3-1600 to ddr3l-1833 (lower power usage) (for the Marvell CXD90025G-asic sub processor, not main memory)
- AMD APU changed from CXD90026G to CXD90026AG
If you're correcting someone please do it correctly2GiB is not 256MB, 2Gb however is.
2GiB is 2147MB, 2GB is 2000MB and 2Gb is 256MB. Confusing as fuck, I know, but you can thank the storage manufacturers for that because they want a bigger number on the box for less.
1KiB = 1024 bytes, 1KB = 1000 bytes and 1Kb = 125 bytes.
I hope the new ps4 model will be quieter.
