New Revolution rumors.

That guy is obviously a fraud, but people shouldn't be so quick to dismiss everything he says...for some of this stuff, where there's smoke, there's fire.

If the guy's a fraud, why shouldn't we dismiss everything? I could make a very similar blog, claim to be friends with Shigeru Miyamoto (I'm Asian; it's believable!!!1111) and put up completely fake information. It's just too easy.

whatever revolution is, Nintendo are now stuck with it being a retro machine connected to the internet to buy old games. Even if thats only one string to its bow, without showing anything else, thats what people will remember.

They really do have a lot of work to do. Although even if its just a retro machine, I'd buy it (at a cheap price) to have access to proper versions of my SNES and N64 favourites. It just isn't a next-gen console though.

i agree.

although from reading recent interviews and seeing zelda tp, nintendo is doing everything right for the hardcore gamer. i mean talk about aggressive! aonuma keeps emphasising bettering oot, making the game cool and ensuring they remain focused on keeping the game mature. it's really impressive.

so with this in mind i imagine revolution will speak more clearly when we see the games. that's going to be what ultimately defines the console.

You're right, but in simply repeating some of the things that are floating around the Internet he's hitting on at least one rumor that may have some credence to it.

It's like if you made your fake blog and included "confirmation" of the rumor that next-gen GTA will debut on the PS3. Your blog is still false and completely made up, but that doesn't mean the rumor you mentioned is false by consequence.
