Why doesn't the stock market ever take any of this crazy shit into account? You would think something like this would make it sink like a stone.

The problem that comes is this: Where can people put their money to get a reasonable return on it? The only answer right now is the stock market. And so long as people keep putting money in there, it'll keep going up. Not to mention upcoming tax breaks will inevitably cause a bump before things go spiraling out of control.

I'm guessing your friend isn't among the segment of the population that voted for 'economic' (nee racist) reasons. There will be supporters who don't care if they can't breathe the air so long as they perceive certain other segments of the population are in the same boat or better yet are worse off and it's the Orange fucks doing.
