Looks pretty good. It's kinda weird that in the not too distant future, cellphone gaming will be the big market for handheld play, while dedicated systems, like the GB's and the PSP's, will eventually fade from the top, in terms of being the most popular ways to play games while mobile.

I'm going to assume you're saying that from looking at screenshots of Japanese cellphone games alone. Because if you have actually PLAYED cellphone games and you say that, you either have excellent fingers or you masochistically enjoy the worst control schemes known to man. :lol

Well, for the moment, cellphone gaming isn't as ergonomically nice as a dedicated gaming unit. However, I think it's pretty much inevitable that cellphone gaming will overtake the dedicated handheld game space. It's tied to what most will consider a necessity and at the current rate, I'd think that the tech in the nicer ones will enable better and better capability and multifuctionality. Not saying that this is gonna happen in the next few years, no. Probably at the end of the decade. It's just a better alternative for most developers to go with unless the dedicated handheld space makes some changes to their business model with the inclusion of electronic sales and delivery via wireless connection.

they make a ps2 game called "shining force," but it isn't a strategy game. they make a pair of strategy games, but they're on cellphones. drohne am crying.

So let me get this straight. I've been waiting years for some new "real" Shining Force games, and when they finally get announced, they're cellphone games? Goddamn you Sega.

They need to do a SF2 remake on GBA, then follow it up with SF3 for DS. :)

I'm pretty sure the mysterious "Project S" on PSP is a Shining game too.
